    When I first saw this channel when you released the first video, I thought you were some big youtuber or something. Your commentary is interesting, and your jokes are funny. This channel deserves to be bigger. And I assume it will be.

    you got a good thing going on with this channel, if i could suggest anything it would probably be some sort of better mic setup. maybe like a clip on mic just for the talking head segments that way u get a better audio balance overall. heres hoping to more videos! subbed

      Thank you! I actually did get a Yeti mic recently and it sounds a lot better when I'm on screen. I'll definitely be using it for the next video so it won't be an issue anymore haha. Thank you for the support!

      Yeah it's so fun. It really reminds me of the Dual Analog Flight Joystick for the PS1. I'm not sure if the PS1 version of Podracer was compatible with the dual stick mode but I'm guessing it'd feel similar to play that way. Hope you enjoyed the video!

      Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. :^) My next video is in the works and should be released by the end of this month if everything goes smoothly. Sorry about the delay. Life threw more than I could handle at once and I've been trying to handle all that, so I haven't been able to put as much time into my hobbies. Hope you'll enjoy that video as well when it comes out though!

    I was super excited and pleasantly surprised when you showed off Sin & Punishment being played with this dual stick setup. It almost makes me want to pick one of these up for myself. Almost.

      Yeah I feel like S&P doesn't really get too much love probably because it was JP exclusive. Something really interesting about S&P and dual sticks is I saw in SSFF's video about Dual Analog Controller N64 Games that there was potentially going to be a dual stick mode similar to that in Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, but that feature got scrapped probably due to time constraints. Definitely would've been cool to play and show it off with the Mad Catz stick if they finished it though.

    This was actually a really fun and informative video to watch. As someone who just a few years ago learned about the existence of the N64 arcade stick and flight stick controllers after seeing them on YT and looking them up on eBay, this was a delight to see because I'll probably never get to use this flight/fight stick controller. It's so cool that companies were really trying to innovate back then and push the N64 to be more than just an average console. It felt like you didn't have to own something like a PC to enjoy games in different ways because back then I thought big like that were exclusive to PC. Really nice to see companies were really to branch out and take a chance on bringing console gamers new experiences. I actually got ahold of the N64 Arcade Shark controller and I love using it. Especially because of it's extra analog stick that is just not seen much at all anymore at least from what I know. I would love to see more unique controller reviews from you. I find them absolutely fascinating. Maybe you could review the N64 Arcade Shark next. Or you could review some other controller you find interesting. Totally up you. Keep up the good work man.

      Thank you! Yeah the price on these things can be pretty steep, but there are some occasional listings that pop up for a reasonable price.
      I think the era between SNES and N64 was the golden era for really unique controllers. It was like the wild west since there were so many companies competing, and that led to more innovation and crazy designs/gimmicks to try to stand out from one another.
      I do have the Arcade Shark as well, and I agree the analog stick is really cool. The only other arcade style analog stick that I can think of on a home console is for the Atari 5200, but I don't think any of the games could take advantage of the analog capabilities anyways so doesn't really count. I do talk about the Arcade Shark very briefly in the companion video, but I'm not sure if I'd be making a video on it any time soon since there are already comprehensive reviews of it, but it's definitely still a possibility.
      I have plenty of obscure/cool controllers lined up for reviews, so I'll definitely keep at it haha. Thank you for your support as always!

      @@SodaCanTablet Hmm I might take a look at that Atari 5200 arcade controller. One thing I like doing sometimes is playing Super Smash Bros Melee with my Arcade Shark analog arcade stick. I have an N64 to Gamecube adapter that I can use on my GC or Wii to play the game. Just curious, have you heard about the soon to be released Sega Saturn Pro controller from Retro-Bit? I'm pretty excited about getting in my hands soon. My pre-order just shipped recently. I like that it is a 6 face button controller with bumpers and triggers and dual analog sticks.

    어떻게 지내요~~^^
    Nintendo was great for fighters...until N64. Nintendo got left out...and SEGA Saturn and Playstation got all the Street Fighter games!
    Anyway...great video! And you have good looking cats! I say that so you know I stayed until the end 🤣

    • @SodaCanTablet
      @SodaCanTablet  10 місяців тому +1

      Yeah I always wondered why the N64 didn't get too many fighting games. It's a shame. I recently found out it's because the N64 can't run sprite based games as well as the Saturn and PlayStation could, and most 3D fighting games people think of from the time like Street Fighter EX, Tekken, and Soul Calibur were all developed on hardware based on the PlayStation, which couldn't be ported to N64 for obvious reasons.

    it kinda looks like a prototype imo
    but it's a real mass produced product
    or maybe they just felt like the plastic was good enough

    • @SodaCanTablet
      @SodaCanTablet  8 місяців тому

      Haha does it look like a prototype? It might be my bias for Mad Cats showing but I really like how it looks. I will say the plastic isn't the BEST quality I feel like I can probably break it relatively easily especially compared to OEM N64 controllers.

    SWEP1 Racer? YEAAAHHH BABY!! Any time I see or hear about RRDUAL, I jump out of my seat and point at the screen like "THAT'S MY GAME!!" if a port of SWE1R doesn't have RRDUAL, I don't play it.
    Managed to get a free copy of SWKOTOR 1 for switch by bitching and complaining to ASPYR support that "the cheats page says every n64 cheat is here, but RRDUAL doesn't work, the one and only reason I bought the switch Racer + Commando double cart is for RRDUAL, IDGAF about Commando, gimmie a refund" and they instead gave me kotor

    • @SodaCanTablet
      @SodaCanTablet  8 місяців тому

      HAHA you bet! That's surprising that the Switch Port doesn't have the RRDUAL mode I feel like they could've just programmed it to work with the second analog stick. And that's pretty awesome you got KOTOR for free haha. Thank you for watching!
