That one line kills "... In another life I would have loved doing laundry and taxes with the you." I feel like sometimes the world puts pressure on you to the point where it doesn't want you to find comfort and peace in simplicity. I just love this scene so much because it really shows that as long as you are with the people you love, the rest doesn't matter. Chokes me up everytime
The dialogue of Waymond, the dark-themed atmosphere of the scene, the heavenly-like music of the score and the realization of every possibilities of our selves -- these are enough for me to embrace a deep, transcendental feeling. It seems it is like an ancient part of myself that was lost from a long time ago, and it came back like an epiphany.
I loved that montage: Evelyn was exploring all the extraordinarily, successful different ways her life could've gone, all of which were without Waymond. But the life she was set in, her "failure" life, she remembers the small yet significant happy moments which all involved her husband ❤
This scene hit me so hard the first time I saw it. Most people look at love and falling in love as a young couples game. The truth is you fall in love several times with someone. In some cases it’s after years of being together and just going through the motions due to a busy work life like these two. Sometimes when a crisis hits and it’s so easy to walk away, you have a glimpse of your life together and it opens your eyes again and it’s like the very first time you met all over again. Seeing them for the first time in years without all the noise and really opening up to them is a powerful moment. This scene captured that feeling so perfectly.
It's not even just that, she felt and understood how he works, what he has that she lacked, Empathy. She basically got a new view of him after thinking he was just some silly man that she married, the colors that scroll on their faces is essentially that understanding, it's why at the end it was such warm colors because she started to love him all over again because she felt the love he had for her. It's not just the realization, for most of the movie she liked Alpha waymond more because of his assertiveness without actually understanding her Waymond, another version of himself even explains why he's the way he is, why he's passive, because it's a necessary strategy, it's so many things and you, viewed it in the most vanilla way possible because you didn't understand it yourself
@@soulfox32 love what you wrote, but one correction- Tax universe Waymond isn't passive; just as CEO Waymond says, he fights in a different way. He makes cookies; he dances with the upset & vaguely creepy customer. He actively cleans up after the messes Evelyn makes when she tries to fight her way. I'm so grateful that the Daniels gender swapped the roles after Jackie Chan turned them down. Waymond helps us redefine what it means to be a man- that kindness, instead of going off to battle, is the act of courage. And in the end, it's "beta" Taxes Waymond that ends up saving Evelyn (and the entire mutiverse).
We don't only need a Waymond in our lives.
We all need to be like Waymond to people's lives.

Literally she love waymond in every universe❤
Not alpha waymond he was a selfish asshole but the one we have is pretty great
This clip is the precise moment that makes me cry every time.
I cried like a baby in this scene because my husband is just like Waymond.
Bless you and your husband
married a good man
If there is nothing but you and me in this wide open pointless existence, then lets make good times together.
waymond is extraordinary character.
I really, really loved this movie. This and The Northman were by far the best movies of 2022.
Waymond reminds me of my father, came to the U.S. with little but always found the appreciation and happiness for the simplest things in life.
I loved that montage: Evelyn was exploring all the extraordinarily, successful different ways her life could've gone, all of which were without Waymond. But the life she was set in, her "failure" life, she remembers the small yet significant happy moments which all involved her husband ❤
1:51 god how long do you think it’s been since waymond has seen her smile??
Waaay too long lol
these are the best 2 minutes of 2022 cinema

I think this moment which wins Oscar it touches every heart, every soul in every universe.
Best scene in the movie made me tear up big time
thank u so much i love this channel
This was my favorite scene
Great moments in a great movie!
I thought this was one of the worst moments. It's so vanilla. Realizing how good you had it as a the penultimate on a Reality bending adventure.
you dont know things and you dont get stuff
@@OrangeHarrisson that is a very real possibility. Or you might be a very basic person :P or maybe you don't get stuff.
True but that’s what makes it so special in that moment. She could be anywhere but there’s no other Waymond like Evelyn’s Waymond.
