Absolutely!
No, It's a great machine but for a beginner theres jsut to much and it would get too distracting. Get a Yamaha Piaggero or something thats basic and focuses on having good piano sound and keys. Then once you can play to a decent level and are truly ready to actually experiment with sound and play with others which will be quite a while down the line then look into a stage keyboard or something. Well aware the original comment is 9 years old but this is for anyone on recently.
