I currently own an RD-700. Looking forward to getting the new RD-2000 for Christmas. It has backwards compatibility through the axial EXP downloads, which feature the multi sampled acoustic piano patches of the RD 700, including the GX, SX, and the (supernatural) NX. Although I love multi sample patches, I'm extremely optimistic about the capabilities of the V-piano engine, which powers the first ten patches and gives you unlimited polyphony with them - working independently, it won't drain anything thing from it's (second) supernatural engine [when layering zones] 🖒
I have a RD700GX. It sounds great with my earphones, but horrible (tinny) when hooked up to my expensive, bose L1model ll system. Is it because is because it is not a stereo speaker system, as someone told me? What is the easiest way to turn this combo into a good performance system to fill, say, a large church or somewhat noisy restaurant. I'm also a vocalist and have a decent mic and like the little box that came with it and adds reverb, etc. Do i add another tower or ??? Any pros out there who can advise me?
Bose are known for clearity but not for being powerful!!! Good speakers just not good to take to a dog fight..... Try getting a mixer and some PA speakers such as the QSC etc....Even some keyboard AMPS are not good enough for Large Gigs ....Keyboard sound good with head phones not with speaker....try turning up the out put db on the keyboard to match the speaker specifications and this will help out with sound distortion.... If you don't want all that heavy equipment, try a TRAYNOR K12 KEYBOARD AMP...:-) GOOD LUCK!!¡!!
I just bought a used one. I like the ivory key feature
