Stalker Anomaly Upgrade and Install Guide 1.5.1 to 1.5.2

- In this video I'm going to show you how to download and install the new 1.5.2 patch correctly on a freshly installed stalker anomaly.
If you have a modded stalker anomaly 1.5.1 and you just going to drop it on that build then you got 99% chance that you will probably break that game especially if you have like a 100 mods installed so don't do it.
Instead download a new stalker anomaly 1.5.1 then upgrade it to 1.5.2 then start re-modding this new stalker anomaly 1.5.2 build and also install a few mods at a time and remember if you got a few mods its fine to use JSGME but if you have many MO2 is the way to go.
Don't Comment about this broke my modded game cause I didn't tell you to do so...
Also in the end of this video I got a little showcase of the weather mod I have been making it's not yet perfect but I should finish it in a few days.

I love this video, it starts out with an easy to follow guide to update to the new version then he’s just like “oh btw I’ve been making this mod check this shit out, cool huh” and I didn’t even question it in just sitting here like “hell yeah that’s dope” for the next 10min

i was wondering how do you know which direct x launcher you should use for your computer
@@mellothejelo5537 If you go to your task manager and click on your GPU you can see exactly which directx the gpu uses. If you have a gpu which uses directx 12 then you can use dx11.

Think most people can patch and install mods these days but it's nice to help them out. Mixing mods is good way of messing up a playthrough. I never dived super deep into the mods and what you really have to do for it to run stable.

Was not expecting the files to take hours on end to load just to transfer them seeing as though even the base games took less than ten minutes. Either way, much thanks for the tutorial bro!

thanks, man. this video helped. But for some reason when I extracted the 1.5.2 update file to my Anomaly folder with 7zip, I was left with a folder containing the update in my Anomaly folder that did absolutely nothing. Maybe I missed something or I'm stupid, but after opening the 152 folder, selecting all of it's contents and moving them back to my actual 151 folder, I was prompted to replace old files with the new ones and now the game is updated. :p

Update * when i start the game i get a white screen.. i verified files amd eveything mjght just wait for stalker 2 tbh
when i try to extract to another folder it tell me incorrect parameter
I hope you still respond to comments, what would happen to our save files when we replace the appdata? Because i've progressed pretty far in my gameplay and im worried i might lose it, so just making sure before updating
They shouldn't be replaced but you can always back them up manually.

Hi, I know this was a couple months ago but I hope someone stumbles upon this comment and is willing to help me install this game (I am VERY new to Pcs and this installation process seems a little overwhelming). When I go to install the mod, it tells me that it has been blocked by Microsoft Edge. Does anyone know how to work around this issue? Again, I am very new to modding so it could be something really simple that I am missing. Please show compassion for my situation and thank you to anyone who is willing to help. :)
It sounds like M E thinks that the mod is a virus which is a false positive. Best thing to do is to use google chrome to download your mods and always open the zip files as an admin.

That's normal cause you are overwriting old files with new files 👍
Should I always delete the shader cache before starting or only after updating 1 time?
Yes you can the game will recreate new once every time you delete them.

@@Alexander-ec7xh No only if you have a mod that changes them, Like a mod that changes how the night vision looks or a mod that changes the way grass looks when it gets wet and shiny with the rain.

I’m getting horrible stuttering with a good PC. What could be happening?
First Lower stalker population to 50% you can keep mutants at 75% , set your gpu to low latency if you have that option and if you have multicore manually load stalker anomaly from the bin and load an AVX version of which direct x you have
Everything was fine before the update. I played it once after the update, it was fine and fun. After trying the launcher again, the game wouldn't launch, without any error notification at all. so I reinstalled the game.
If you are using a reshade make sure you match the DX of the launcher for the Reshade
Hi I am currently trying to install stalker again and I am running into an issue where the game won’t launch and says I need gamedata/config/system.ltx.
As far as I know the game data does not generate until after you launch the game but it won’t let me launch it. I have tried several clean installs all with the same result.
Also the gamedata folder remains empty, if anyone knows a solution please let me know I can’t get anything to work.
Sounds like a problem with the zip program , what program are you using?
I am using 7 zip, but after reinstalled another time it started working on its own, I did not change anything so I’m really not sure what was going on
when I update the files to 1.5.2 it opens the x-ray engine pop up and then closes.
And how did you update the files?
when i download it and it finishes it it says this file does not have an app and i need to create one, what does that mean? cheers,

Hello, I follow the rules of the video and I get an error that is this: Function: invalid_parameter_handler File: xrDebugNew.cpp
Looks like you didn't paste the folder correctly inside stalker anomaly
everytime I download it, its missing like half the stuff that it shows I need Im not sure why
First did you install just the game with just 1.5.1 and tested it?
Then Did you open the folder of 1.5.2 and checked all the files inside?
I tried this forever but when extracting it comes up with a whole bunch of different files with the Anomaly logo instead of the launcher please help
you need to download the full version not a patch - refer to top comment thread

Install it somewhere you like on your pc , then test it see if it works. Then download 1.5.2 patch and install it over the game.

how do you call out the menu to edit weather and weapon stuff?
You run the game in debug mode then you press F7 while in game and you find a nice weather editor
Can I just uncheck my mods from MO then Install the patch?
Yes you can , but then if you have problems try to reactivate the mods few at a time.
fuzzy sky on 1st gens is normal

It has reduced been in story mode , still occurs in warfare mode depending on settings.

You probably missed to put a file inside repatch it.

It depends what browser you are using, most of them have a download section on their menus

@@DrakoMT i also verified the files before playing still no luck.. I played this game a year ago with lots of mod but i deleted it coz i was not playing it anymore but the same as darksouls my cravings came back lmao

Install the game first test it , Then follow my guide and install the update and then test it again.

Install stalker anomaly 1.5.1 then test it see if everything is ok.
Then Download the 1.5.2 patch and extract everything inside the game.

If you have a modded game and you are going to rebuild a new 1.5.2 version of the game, Don't copy paste all the mods in the new 1.5.2 because it might not work and you will end up scratching your head which mod is conflicting or bugging with what.

i go to verify the installation and i get a error "tools/checksums.md5 missings "
I get a system error saying MSVCP140.dll a d3dx11_43.dll a d3dx9_43.dll and a D3DCOMPILER_43.dll was not found, says reinstalling the program may fix the issue, tried it several times. I don't know how to fix this. I have also ran the Verify installed version and it says its installed correctly
Do you have Direct X 11? You sound like you have an older system.

Something went horribly wrong there , It can happen when you extract huge files. All I can tell you is try again.

Clean Install Stalker Anomaly 1.5.1 run it make sure it works then.
Install 1.5.2 check that it works then start modding
