I believe, as a respiratory therapist, that you are still contagious for 10 days after testing positive. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a Merry Christmas
Well, it looks like you are feeling better! Look at all the crafting you have managed along with work, home, and family. And you make it all look so effortless! You talk about making a couple of holiday ornaments for your sister, at this late date, and you don’t even break into a sweat! Christmas socks, sweaters, ornaments, variegated squares … Are you an Android or two? 😂🤣😂🤣😂 The crocheted Battenberg lace squares are beautiful! It’s going to make a lovely throw for your cats to cuddle up on. They looked so comfy on the two quilts on the sofa. 🐈🐈🐈⬛ I look forward to the “Sisters Quiz.” Perhaps you should do a couples quiz like the Newlywed Game and include your parents! That could be great fun! It’s Christmas Eve, so I will bid you a Happy Christmas. Thank you for all the joy you have brought me this year. It’s quite a massive and lovely gift that doesn’t fit into a box. 🤩🤩🤩
Your little granny square piece is so cute! Love that you are using the yarn from your advent calendar! Also, love the Noel ornament. Can’t wait to see it finished! So glad you are feeling better! Have fun with your sisters!

Wow! I can’t believe how much I am enjoying your blogmas. I guess I’m a much nosier person than I thought. I love how vulnerable you are. I would totally love to hang with you. I’m a little sad that you seem to be sliding more and more away from cross stitch, but your excitement for knitting and crocheting is making me want to start knitting and crocheting 🤣 keep the blog format coming. Love love love them. Merry Christmas 🎄
OMG! I was laughing so hard at you dancing on your porch! 😂😂😂 You ornament turned out so cute, I think I have the flosspack from last year….Have fun with your sisters! I am glad you are feeling better. Rebecca C.
What a fun video! So glad you’re feeling better. Those small hanks of yarn are such pretty colors! Loved day one a lot. I crochet also, so may have to print off that pattern. Fun little things to work between my cross stitch and quilting!
Yes! They are so quick and satisfying to make, just trying to take it one fun color at a time and not think too hard about the hundreds of neutral ones I'll need too 😂
What a fun video! Your battenberg crocheted blanket is going to be adorable. Please keep showing your progress on that. Your sweater is looking so cute! Thanks for making these videos. Very fun. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Liz so happy to hear you are feeling better. Also after seeing your advent I definitely want to order one next year. You battenberg blanket will be gorgeous. Merry Christmas
I think I will definitely do one again next year, its been so much fun!! And I feel like there are a ton of good blanket pattern options for using them!
@@elizabethanncanstitch I signed up for the farmers daughter fibers sock squad for this year so that I make a dk weight blanket with the big skeins and then I think I’ll do the battenburg with the mini that comes with it
You are so scandalous! 😜 Your xstitch piece for your sister is adorable. Did you go ahead and try cheaters while stitching on the black? Loving the little crochet blocks! I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Looking got to seeing part 2. Continue to take good care! 😘❤️ Rebecca
I could watch you everyday! Laughter, inspiration, and love everything you make, cross stitch, quilting, crocheting, knitting and most of all you always share your talents with us making your videos so much fun! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!🥰
I want to learn to crochet so I joined rivalry and downloaded the pretty pattern! I am glad you are feeling better! You are just so fun, Liz!! Merry Christmas!! ❤️🤍💚🩷
Oh yay, I hope you enjoy it!! The free videos with the pattern are great and there are lots of awesome tutorials on youtube to help with chaining and doing double crochets! ❤️
That video of you with your winter cost is a hoot. The sweater that you did a test fit looks so good on you. I love the variegated crochet squares of your blanket.
I’ve been eyeing up the Battenberg blanket for the last few weeks. I am planning to start it early next year. Happy to hear how quickly each square makes up.
I love your Vlogs they are so fun. I also love that you are working on the crochet square blanket. The squares are so cute. No I can’t knit or crochet just cross stitch. Both my sisters can crochet though.❤️❤️
So much fun! Your sister's gift is great, love the dark linen! Love that the joggers (sister) stopped to say hello and you flashed them!!! Too funny! The squares for the quilt are so just right! This will be a fun project! Merry Christmas! Fun to flow from hobby to hobby!
I worked on a Merry Christmas cross stitch for 2 months. Where I bought it they recommended Classic Colorworks floss. Well I finished it and I always wash my cross stitch and embroidery with dawn dish detergent so it washes out the oil from my hands. The floss ran all over the white fabric, I never dreamed floss would run because I always use DMC. Then I read the labels on the Classic Colorworks and it says not color fast. Live and Learn.
You need some barber cords for you knitting so you can try things on. No transferring the yarn to a different needle when using them. Also, that top looks like it is going to fit you so nicely!
I am working on the confectionery cardigan, but I am using a fade Advent calendar from Yarn Ink. I love that the stripes are vertical. It was pretty easy to knit through this busy month.
Merry Christmas Liz, hope you and Rob have such a wonderful day and a very Happy New Year. Hope you can incorporate your front porch dance into your New Year's Eve celebration!!!!! 🤣😂 Just love you girl, you are such an inspiration to this ole Grandma (YaYa) your a busy one and still make time to create so much. Take care and many blessings❤
Thanks for inspiring me to get back to work on my Battenberg! I've got about 50 tiny colored squares done.... many to go! Merry Christmas, Liz. Glad you are feeling better too.
I’m so excited you are doing the Battenberg blanket! I have gathered up my yarn leftovers…can’t decide on my “joining” color. Please keep us posted on how this goes. Merry Christmas!!!
Hi Liz… glad you’re feeling better . I’m interested in the crochet blanket you want to make but didn’t catch the size hook you are waiting for. I’d also love to know how many squares you get out of each skein so looking forward to your progress. Love your sweater. One of my plans for 2024 is to learn to knit better (I can knit/purl in a straight line like a scarf but that’s it).
I can’t remember the name but I’m pretty sure I got it on Amazon like 10-12 years ago, I liked that it packed up flat to make it easier to store, but I’m looking at getting one of the umbrella ones now, not sure!
Hi Liz, I downloaded the Battenburg Blanket pattern, I you have your advent yarn but can I just use regular yarn from like box stores? I’m really enjoying your videos and so happy that you’re feeling so better!!!!! 💚
I just slide the stitches on to another needle that way they can spread out and allow me to try things on, then when I'm done i just knit them off of the extra needle and back on to my original needle!
@@elizabethanncanstitch thanks so much. These little battenburg squares are so cute and so addicting Happy New Year. Thank for all your wonderful videos

I've tried the cords and find it much slower to pull the stitches on and off the cords rather than just using another needle!
