I Attempted To Fix My E55 AMG

In last week's video, I gave you guys an introduction to this legendary machine. Today we attempt to fix it... Its currently got leaky valve cover gaskets (which I attempted to fix but didn't) and also a faulty alarm siren module. Anyways, please enjoy this week's update of the E55 AMG.

Oil on bell housing... rear main seal, common problem. I have replaced it on mine (DIY).
The rear main seal job is a big big job.
MB recommend to monitor the rear main seal leak. If leaking very badly, then replace.
I am not a car mechanic, I have learnt most DIY jobs from UA-cam and the internet.

You are on the mony on this Major774 have the same problem on my CLS 55 and Mercedes want 500euro for this job i dont think this is a bad price (Spain)

Use dawn heavy duty degreaser. Work it in with c a cheap paint brush and wash it off. No smell! Works great, I used it to get grease of my subframe when the CV shaft boot failed.
