As a Dodgers fan I would love to get Roki this off-season considering he would only cost 700k a year on the payroll . But if he doesn’t come over this year and decides to wait until he’s 25 then I wouldn’t want him on the Dodgers. The last thing the Dodgers need is another injury plagued pitcher making big money. They already have enough all star caliber pitchers to make up an entire All-Star rotation, they don’t need more all star pitchers on the IL. Ohtani, Yamamoto, Gonsolin, Buehler, Miller, May, Sheehan and Kershaw was for the most of the season.
Am I the only one who doesn’t trust pitches with only 3 pitche? Fastball reach 100 consistently is nice, splitter and slider are cool but he needs a curveball of sometime in my opinion
@@jrrivera4450 damn I can’t have an opinion? All I said was I prefer my ace to have at least 4 pitches. Does development not exist in baseball? He can’t develop overtime adding to his repertoire?
He wore it once and Yu Darvish gave it to him Obv the have a relationship (likely from playing on team Japan) but by no means is guaranteed to go to the padres
Stearns and Cohen have their eyes on him. And they have their eyes on Crochet. They could trade for Crochet and work on acquiring Sasaki. Dodgers can't get them all. The Mets are right on their tail. Let's go Mets. 🔥⚾ 🔥
That would be a made over rotation. Crochet Sasaki Senga What a trio that would be. Don't be surprised that this is what Stearns has in mind. To trade for Crochet and get Sasaki. The Mets are only going forward and up. They're ready to pull off some big moves this off-season. Watch out. 🤨😐🙂👊⚾☺️
Before Yamamoto signed with the Dodgers, it was common courtesy for the Japanese signee to not sign with the team with a Japanese player already in its roster. For a team to have 3 Japanese players would even be more improbable. I think it is more probable he will sign with the Yankees than with the Dodgers. If Munetaka Murakami signs with the Yankees, he and Roki will form a tandem that rivals Shohei and Yoshi.
He doesn’t even manage to play whole season for couple of years now He’ll be injury prone and I’m pretty sure he can’t play 5 man rotation Personally I’ll put him as reliever or closer
Yeah, no doubt the talent and stuff is there but considering he only has a single season over a 100 innings, some injury issues and he's rushing himself to the MLB, just a stupid idea
@@BaseballUnleashed13 His name being hot does nothing for him anyway, if he gets posted right now hes playing for the major league minimum, if he cares about being "hot" and making money he has to wait until after the 2026 season which doesn't seem like he wants to do.
It doesn't look like there are that many starting pitchers who can keep up with the current rotation in recent years. I think he's being smart to take care of himself rather than pushing hard and risking serious injuries or worse.
Paul Molitor and Shohei Ohtani both were injury prone during their younger years and missed a lot of games, but endured it and blossomed in to a star player, and became very tough players never missing a game. Sasaki could do it too.

He will have the same type of immediate impact that Skenes has had. Dude is filthy
Agree
Never heard of this guy “Saski” but he looks really good, or was that Sasuki
Tbh, it is not a matter of how good he is, his issue is with injury. I believe he will be DeGrom 2.0 if u know what I mean 😉
Hope not
He has added other pitches in his arsenal to limit his fastball use. He throws it less now, and becoming a complete player.
Is he faster than Skenes?
Would be a fun race!

@@BaseballUnleashed13They are the favorite to get him rn
You compare him with othani? I hope he can have at least 25 homerun per year.. Oh wait maybe just 1..
Ohtani is the GOAT because he's 2 way, I'd say Sasaki has the potential to be a better pitcher however than Ohtani, but ofc that remains to be seen

He’s still a young kid. Plenty of time to get better.
