Rabbi Genack is the CEO of the Orthodox Union - OU - Kosher Division which provides certification for over 1.3 million products, covering 14,000 facilities in 104 countries.
Rabbi Genack is a prolific writer and has authored three halachic - Jewish law - books/sefarim: Birkat Yitchak, Gan Shoshanim, and Chazon Nachum,
Rabbi Genack, a close disciple of the Rav, Rav Yosef Dov Ber Soloveitchik of blessed memory, has edited a number of works of the Rav.
Rabbi Genack is also the co-editor of the Torah journal Mesorah.
Rabbi Genack has been active in public service having been a member on New Jersey Governor Corzine’s transition team of as well as forming an important published dialogue with President Bill Clinton.
Rabbi Genack has served as the Rabbi of Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Eglewood New jersey since 1985.
