For those of you who do not know: child abusers/pedophiles/etc who go to Prison die in there. They get brutally murdered by the other inmates who were themselves abused as children, or care for a child.
Edit: I can't believe that the darkest post I've made is the most liked.
2nd edit: yes, I bloody know that that's the reason why they have solitary confinement, it's not like you dorks haven't mentioned it 50 times already.

@@neekneek9981 Yeah, that seems to be a lot more common. The pedos go straight to solitary confinement so they can't be killed by other inmates. Kinda sucks in my opinion, because everyone in that prison knows that the pedo will just go right back to what they did before if they get out.

In the animal world 1) cannibalism is normal. 2) every male no matter the species is your enemy. 3) you can die at any time. 4) you have to hunt down and kill whenever you need to eat. 5) your teeth brake down too often. 6) diseases are common. There are even more.

Usually I hate kids between 9 and 11 because these understand that they can feel superior by constantly trying to prove why they are smarter/stronger/[whatever they think is important] than you. If you try to ignore them, they are gonna keep trying, until you snap and agree with them, or you snap and strike back, physically or verbally. In the second way of snapping, they think they can do anything because they can tell their parents/guardians/whoever cares for them.
So, they are smart enough to realize that but not that you are a person and their actions can be both irritating, and frustrating.
They are like sociopath templates, and the worst part is that they are a majority among that age group.
EDIT: My views changed a lot since writing the comment, i was also growing up myself, and i do wonder now why i wrote it the way i did, but I won't delete it, just saying that... I'm annoyed by the dichotomy of either praising the police or being insinuated to be an ungrateful asshole who would call the police to help in case of an emergency. I understand that cops themselves might feel like they're being unfairly judged because of publicized misuse of power. But they're also ignoring how their training itself encourages them to focus on confessions and charges instead of finding out the real perpetrators. Or how easy and common it is to slip into professional loyalty and allow bits of corruption just because you have a dangerous job.
I don't hate the police as a concept. I don't pine for anarchy. The reason I want to focus on this mismanagement is precisely because public trust in the police is the only real thing that matters. Every time a cop wants to ignore the flaws of their colleagues and nasty deeds, they gnaw at that trust and contribute to more crime.

i understand calling out specific people, and especially specific organisations allowing things to slip by. but i have nothing against a system that would do its job in a non corrupt manner or against individuals unable to make a particular difference in their system, and i have yet to judge a random officer.

Not the worst by far (maybe I'm just desensitized a bit), but still pretty horrible:
Police in my town were called to do a welfare check on a man's mother after her family hadn't heard from her for a few days. They found her missing with no signs of a break in, but indeed there was a struggle. When they pinged her phone, they were led to a house with no one home, well, almost. They found her body bound in cloth, gagged, plastic bag tied over her head, and her head/face bashed in. She was 75 years old.
They went on to further investigate, and found the badly decomposing body of a teenager buried in the back yard, too decayed to tell anything identifying about it at the scene. My police, sheriff, and departments of other towns worked together and managed to catch the guy pretty quickly. It's still a pretty fresh case, so I'm not sure if there were other victims.

“Defunding” doesn’t necessarily mean “dismantling”. For example, local precincts have no need for tanks and military grade technology. Instead of putting funds towards unnecessary force, that money would go to other areas

Sorry, but if the parent was abusing the kid or allowing abuse, it's justified and remorse isn't necessary.

9:37 I mean, at least there is a bit of justification, it's at least easy to understand. Though I wonder why the mom and not the rapist stepdad.

I retired from the detroit police department (2011) and I cannot count all the horrendous scenes I've seen... newborn baby tossed into the garbage in the middle of a cold February winter day and torn to pieces by stray dogs (blood and flesh about the snow in the alley), guy chopped into quarters & bagged and hidden throughout various abandoned houses, two year old molested and sodomized to death by her mothers new boyfriend, countless suicides, countless homicides (stabbings & shootings),
multiple bodies in various stages of decomposition left upon the railroad tracks by a serial killer (John Armstrong), "chrispy critters" (ppl burned to death in house fires, as well as cars), and the list goes on and on and on.... you can usually get over seeing some stuff but seeing babies and kids hurt or killed is something you NEVER get over... that shit effects you like nothing else. There's not enough bleach in the world to remove those scenes from your memory, not to mention the smells blood & death at those scenes as well as the sounds of wailing, heartbroken mothers and family members too...
Real evil exists in our world and I know there has to be a special place in hell for monsters!

@9:49 I don’t blame the 14 year old girl. It says no remorse when she shot her mom. Where was her mom’s remorse for her child when she was being raped? I’m not saying she should have been killed. I actually think it would make more sense if she killed the stepfather, but if you allow something horrible to happen to your child, you don’t deserve any sympathy

Young girl, who shot her mom obviously felt no remorse if her mom just let her stepfather do that to her continuously. She's not a monster, nobody should have to put up with that. She should receive professional help, so she could have a better life in the future and the stepfather should be executed/death sentenced. Honestly i don't understand why the victim should feel remorse in the first place, the mother was also part of the problem by allowing the man to do that to her OWN DAUGHTER.

3:51 Do you think the correction officers know the crimes their charges have committed? I won't lie, there's no way I can be impartial and protect any of these. Hearing a riot knowing they're part of it, perhaps even overhearing them being beaten or anally raped..I can't say I would be in a hurry to stop them.

overall, it is a law enforcement system, and it can stop crimes, but that is the bare minimum. it is corrupt from the inside. this can allow some very bad things, to put it simply. so this is why people try to reform it.
