@@alexandreman8601 depends of what you consider "wrong", killing is not something a human should be proud of, justified or not, you took someone's life, and it's likely will affect all the people he or she knows, if you take the first case, it's self defense as the victim broke into the OP's house, it's legal, it's justified, but it's still wrong. after all, he was forced to kill him for his and his sister's safety, nobody will say that he made the wrong choice or that he is a horrible person or a criminal for defending yourself, but the fact is, he's a killer, why? Because he took someone's life. Everyone who take a life is a killer, and it's a fact. But being a killer in this case is not portrayed as a criminal, since he defended himself. there's a difference between a criminal and a killer

Isaac Dayton If they come after you, you have full right to kill. This is what the “me or him” mindset is. It only comes about when they aggress first coming for your life, refusing to back down. In this case it’s either die or hurt them badly enough to get them to back off or kill them.

    • @testerwulf3357
      @testerwulf3357 4 роки тому

Isaac Dayton In a life or death situation you don’t have time to think, you need to act. If someone comes for your life you don’t have much reaction time to counter thus it’s pointless to use it on thinking; this is why humans tend to act rather than think in dangerous situations, because it’s evolutionarily an advantage. Thinking instead of going instinct causes you to get hurt in many situations which is bad and your body avoids that for obvious reasons.

Well at one point, the first story of the guy breaking it could have been the result of something else (trauma, drugs, etc.) I don't completely understand why either but it's just kinda my little theory

I'm pretty antisocial so I am alone and spend a lot of time thinking over what ifs. Like seriously, "what if the fire is on fire?" And I'll get the blueprints and plan it out for days. I've gone over "what if someone attacked me?" Countless times.
When I was 19, still living with parents, my father hurt his back and was in the hospital. My mom was with him while me and my sister went home as i had to get her to school the next morning.
It was a little after midnight when i heard someone open the back door. I quickly turned off the TV and grabbed my dad's handgun he keeps in the TV stand.
In the moment, I acted the same way I had planned it. Lock my sister's door, call the cops, warn the guy three times, and when he refused, I put three in him.
It was pitch black. I never saw his face. After I shot, I ran to my sister's room and kept the gun trained on the door till the cops came.
It didn't effect me in anyway that night. I calmly did what I did and thought nothing of it. It wasn't till I was finally left alone that it got through to me.
The cops found the guy in the kitchen with a bullet to his leg, stomach and heart. I had killed that man.
While I know I would've have done the same thing again and again to protect my sister, but I constantly wonder if I could have protected her and not kill him.
Every therapist I've been to said the same thing. I acted on auto pilot. It wasn't my fault. You did the right thing.
I've never cared much for human life, but being the person to actually extinguish it did more damage then I thought it would.

I managed to get to the sidewalk that led to my ramp to get to my apartment when the seizure came. My chair fell over and wound up on top of me as I laid in the middle of the road seizing. When my brother and I were retrieving a briefcase with a mysterious glowing interior from an apartment full of lowlife roustabouts, we brought one of them, Marvin, with us (a friend of my brother). As we drove away, we had a discussion on Divine Intervention. When I asked Marvin about it he said he didn’t even have an opinion. I turned around and said “Well you gotta have an opinion-“ I accidentally shot Marvin right in the face and splattered his blood, brain, and skull fragments all over the car.
We went to our friend Jimmy’s in Toluca Lake, and hid the car in his garage. We then called our boss, and he sent “The Wolf” to help us clean the car, hide the body in the trunk, and then we took the car to “Monster Joe’s Truck and Tow”. We got rid of the corpse and the car.

My dad used to be a truck driver. One day he got a job that entailed 3 drivers. They would all follow each other in a line. Well, one of the drivers asks if my dad would like to lead the team. My dad politely passes and says he did it on the last job. So the driver that asked takes the lead position. Well, my dad is following directly behind him and as they go through their first intersection of the day, an suv driving perpendicular to the lead truck and smahes into the trailer and the bottom half flies out the other side. It stopped not too far from my dad. He was the first to get to the scene.
Lady who had been driving had a medical episode which caused her car to speed up. Upon impact the trailer had sheared everything in the car from the shoulders, up. You can imagine what my dad found in the seat. The most frightening part, was there were childrens belongings scattered all throughout the car and littering the road. While my dad kept people away from the ghastly scene, everyone else searched for the kids. The lead driver had no idea anyone had hit him, the only evidence he had was when he looked in the rear view, just as the dust cloud was settling. He started freaking out, and my dad kept him from seeing the mess and told him there was nothing he could do for her.
Well almost 2 hours later, the police are finally able to get a hold of someone and the good news arrives. The children had just been dropped off at her sisters house. There were no children in the car. My dad still has issues with the mess he saw and hes the toughest guy I know. We never bring it up because the therapy took longer than we had hoped and no one wants to go through that again. The lead driver was over it after about a good year. But my dad still thinks about how it could have been his truck in the intersection that day. I think the fact that he has done so many good things that are pretty amazing, help to balance that out. So let that be a lesson to you, do really good things so that when something really bad happens, you will be able to live with yourself at night.

First post: seems like you made the right call. You were unwillingly thrust into a situation where you had done nothing wrong and had to choose between (1) protecting yourself and your sister, or (2) possibly being murdered. You were forced to kill in self-defence, while the attacker otherwise may well have murdered your parents' children in cold blood - considered that way, you unquestionably did the right thing. Good for you on your marriage and job, and I hope your life does not remain completely tainted by that horrible event.

This isn’t my story, but an old friend of my husband’s accidentally killed their neighbor. He bought and sold drugs (didn’t make them himself) and the neighbor purchased some off of him. There was fentanyl in it so he overdosed and died. The dealer was charged, but he didn’t expect anyone to die from the drugs being laced.
Personally, I feel all drug dealers are killers. But I feel bad for this guy because it wasn’t the drug itself that killed anyone, it was the additional substance.

Am I weird for not being overly worried seeing people dying? I've seen multiple deaths in front of me since around 10, from people being ran over, car crashes, gunshots, heart attack (i had to carry the poor lad to the hospital with my dad) and cancer. Not being edgy or anything else, but I feel that death is something that one should be mentally prepared to live, i always felt it natural. Even if you take part on the killing, it's as human as it can be.

It’s normal to feel remorse. It’s a sign of a good person. Obviously it was justified but that doesn’t make it automatically okay in your brain to do. People cry at movies when they know it isn’t real; feelings aren’t logical.

I'm on the psychopathy spectrum, but I could never harm or kill an animal no matter what. (I'm 14 btw) but I don't think I would feel anything if I killed someone. But I guess it depends on the person. If I feel empathy for them, then I wouldn't hurt them. And I wouldn't hurt a baby or a toddler. If they were a bad person, I wouldn't think twice in a dangerous situation. Even if it was a kid and they were hurting people (like in school shootings) then I could still do it. But I'm glad to say I've never hurt someone just for the fun of it. I know it's wrong.
I think that it's mostly to do with the fact I struggled with self harm not so long ago, and when it was really bad I used to watch gore videos. They never made me feel disgusted or anything. Just nothing. I know I'm a bad person. I feel so sorry for everyone in this video. They must feel so awful. I guess I'm quite lucky.
