My S21 with exynos charges from 0-100 in 1h and 15 minutes, since here in the test the S21 has the smallest battery of all android devices. It has excellent battery life as it only has 4000mAh. Its charging speed is a bit slower, but it is close to the MI 11 model, which has a 55w charger.
I think this person charged s21 with 15 W charger instead of 25W This was not genuine test, I have seen s21 ultra with 5000 mah battery charging with 25 W charger in just 1hr 9 minutes
I also have the s21 with exynos and of the phones I've had, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 pro, the battery life for me is a joke. If I'm lucky I get 5 SOT and I've tweaked every battery setting possible without giving up 120hz screen. If I wouldnt use high refresh screen then I'd definitely get an iphone 13 or 12. Luckily I just picked this up from the Samsung store and still have the possibility to return it which I'm considering. Too bad because the s21 is otherwise a very pleasant phone and definitely better than the s21 Fe that i also tried out but returned.

It is bad and wrong test. You testing Iphone at 60hz, but other phones at 90hz and 120hz, of course they will drain battery faster. It is right idea to test all phones at 60hz.
oppo is clearly way ahead its league in terms of designing new advancements in battery charging capacity whereas the other manufacturers are behind in that department. It takes samsung and iphone over 1hour 30mins to charge fully. Now you can see how oppo as a daily everyday user is not going to be using that much screen time, probably here and there on-off it would last much much longer.
well I charge always at night so anything under 8 hours will do xD. Besides in the long term apple will have better battery life due to optimized charging. (fast charging kills batteries btw)
Thanks for doing it would have been interesting if you had dropped the pixel down to 60MHz as in the settings you can drop it to that from 90 and it probably would have beaten the iPhone.

The 13 pro with a slightly smaller battery compared to the 13 and LTPO 120 hz display still destroys all these phones in a battery life test, so if the 13 had the same display tech it'll still destroy these phones.

The only smartphones that actually range between 10 and 120 hertz are the iPhones 13 Pro, the new Android smartphones of 2022 are supposed to do the same with Samsung's new E5 display. Even though I personally think that all smartphones with 120 hertz should have a 90 hertz option which for me is the right balance between fluidity and energy saving.

I don't think the results for charging S21 are accurate, did you guys use the exynos variant? My S20 SD variant uses the same 25W charger and same 4000mah battery and charges completely in just minutes over an hour.

The slow charging of Pixel 6 is a bit off for me...almost 3 hours to fully charge is sooo 2016. Coming from chinese fast charging brands i got pampered by those lightning fast charging below an hour. I'll pass for now.

Let's not compare battery life/performance with iPhones. They are made "differently", with top to bottom tech stack owned by a single company. Everything is a tightly linked tailored experience. I wouldn't give up the freedom and open nature of Android for a walled garden experience, where what you can do or not do is decided by the company and not the user. It's not like battery life is disgusting or anything, most of the time in Android phones, battery life is taken care by larger raw capacities.

i repeat this test isn't reliable if the iphone is the only one in 60 hz. all phones should run in 60 hz if one phone cannot do 90hz or 120 hz. it's unfair for other phones.
There's something wrong with your pixel 6. It's not very fast because of the battery management but it'll top off 50% in half hour for sure. Then it gradually slows down it's charging for battery protection taking another hour or so to top to full.

It isn't a fair comparison. The 13 Pro is using an LTPO Panel 1.0, meaning it can go down to 10 hz. Once Android phones have that fully adopted, then it's gonna be fair.

This one was hard since the IPhone was only 60hz refresh rate but it was the smallest battery by a large amount. Pixel 6 is probably the best bang for your buck in this scenario.

It isn't a fair comparison. The 13 Pro is using an LTPO Panel 1.0, meaning it can go down to 10 hz. Once Android phones have that fully adopted, then it's gonna be fair.
@@sabr3T Bruh most android flagships have had variable refresh rate since 2021 start and Apple wasn't the first. Now the S22 ultra has LTPO 2.0 where it can go down to 1hz and yet it still doesn't come close to the 13 Pro Max when it comes to battery life. Imagine if the 13 PM had a 5000 mah battery with latest LTPO 2.0. display tech.

How is it cheating? If the 13 had the same display tech as the 13 pro which has 120hz variable refresh rate then it would still smoke out all these phones in a battery test.
Samsung phones charges faster with screen off... don't do comparison if you don't know about the tech accurately
