8:42 the sandpiper trying to land on the wire, so comical! Almost looked like it was trying to walk. Clumsily. ☺️You get some amazing shots! Ty for sharing your passion.
Thank you Kathy! I pluck all and any vegetation off it, but usually just drag it through the grass before throwing it in the van. If you could see my van, he would understand :-) Pretty much a junker. :-)

Great shots Sparky. Love it.
Glad you enjoyed it Steve!
Thanks for sharing Sparky, fun locations in Minnesota.
Yes they are! I try to get out to the prairies at least once or twice a year. Thanks David.
Have not been to western Minnesota (and Itasca) for decades. Ufdah!
It’s still there!
A most enjoyable adventure, Sparky. Thanks for sharing it with us. Always great photography and a fine learning experience.👍👍
Appreciate it Terry!
Looked like a fun trip
It was!
Two things: 1) I love the Grass hopper sparrow in fence shot 2) where do I get one of those loon themed life jackets 😂
Menards! I know you won’t step foot in a Menards, but Home Depot doesn’t carry them… Sorry buddy.
Those were some friendly Marbled Godwits. I would love to see what you come up with in a floating blind.
Hi gconn, Thanks! If you look back in my uploads I have several floating blind videos… Last one was North Dakota grebes in May 2022.
Thanks for posting this. What a nice variety of flora and fauna. Do you dry off your kayak before putting back in your car or let it air dry?

I agree, Pedro. Sometimes nice to just get away and concentrate only on photography for even a day or two.
Great video, Sparky. As usual was that a loon patterned lifevest you were wearing?
Ha! I never thought of that, but it is reminiscent of their plumage :-)
