This makes as much power as a 5.0L Coyote with half the displacement 🤯

Torque has left the chat
That 3.2L v8 is for people that want a SCREAMER of an engine thats. Okay living at 11,500rpm all it’s life
Now put it back in a motorcycle
It’s also about reliability. These are racing engines that need to be rebuilt pretty regularly vs a street car that’ll go like 200k.
Making power isn't hard, what's a challenge is making power and being reliable all year round and not needing special treatment.
Rpm equals hp, is not that hard. Let's do some math. So hp is lbft time rpm divided by 5252. So if you have a 500 lbft motor a 5252 rpm it make 500hp, but if that same motor sounds to 10504 rpm, it makes 1000hp. At that rate it's a 100hp roughly per thousand rpm gained to the rev limit
What's the lifespan of this engine, how durable is it, and how much torque does it produce?
5.0L coyotte or basically any 1.6L german engine.
Reliability has also left the chat
So your telling me if they make a 2.5L inline 4, get two and combine them to make a 5L. I can make an abomination of a Mercury Marauder.
BMW had this for decades in their
Any engine can punch above its weight. Question is, how long do you want it to last?
That thing is going to sound like a pissed off weedeater too
Well all that sounds good but I got a question. What’s the life expectancy of said engine. I’ve found in 25 years of being a tech. That high output small displacement performance engines tend to fall short of used at full potential for very long
Wish they did this with a vtec dual cam like B series 1.8l x2 with vtec and fwd or bored out 2.0l x 2 4.0l V8 would be nice for the accord or Acura tsx Type R would honda would finally qualify for Nascar.
But the real question is how long will it last from casual use without needing a full rebuild?
Would it kill ya to let me hear it run? I've seen several videos but none of it running
Imagine having to downshift for that hill then casually drive at 8000rpm to start finding torque 😂
Might have a lot of power but I ain't going to last long😂
'86 to '93 Ilmor Chevrolet 2.65 liter V8 . Mechanical multi port fuel injection turbocharger 800 hp.
