Further context for Nadia:
Nadia had dark skin in the inner world, and prior to late 2019 the System had described her skin colour inside as being Black. When we were told by BIPOC that this was offensive, we immediately apologised and adjusted our behaviour. We listened carefully to BIPOC Systems to learn about why it was an issue, and also did our own research. The whole System took steps to rectify, make amends for and learn from our mistake, and it hasn’t been repeated.
When referring to inner-world appearances we now avoid using racial terms, as those terms encompass cultures we have no experience of. We are so sorry again, and are ashamed we didn't know better before it was brought to our attention. We will always listen to those who tell us we have misunderstood something or are uninformed on any topic that negatively impacts other communities.
