Thanks for the vid. Needed to make a slight adjustment on mine as sometimes my arrow fletching was catching the rest before it fell away while others were not. The lines were off by about an 1/8”. Slight adjustment fixed her right up!
Thanks for the video. I was looking for a timing set up video for this rest. I like the side profile slow-mo shots too, they do a good job showing the launcher coming up and falling.

my rest split down the middle to the left screw. I cant find a replacement anywhere. Any idea's? Any type of glue will not bond with the plastic so I cant use that.
I may have depending on the adjustment for the shorter length. The best way to check is to draw your bow and make sure the rest is coming all the way up at the end of your draw cycle. QAD is a great resource as well. See here diybowhunting.com/qad-ultra-rest-hunter-not-dropping-tips/ for setup tips as well.
This is great! Mine has the lines and I did exactly that. When I talked with QAD, they told me to not make the lines the priority, but more timing at full draw and make sure distances were per the install guide. Glad they worked this out.
Great video. I recently purchased the QAD ua-cam.com/video/_t2twVupf48/v-deo.html. I have ran it for a few months now and finding my fletching is making contact. Like you a timed mine to the lines but guessing like yours it is not in the 90 degree position using these lines. I'm going to adjust as per your video and see if it resolves the issue. Pretty frustrating that the lines don't actually work. I'm guessing once it is sorted perhaps the outer drum can be rotated to make them line up?
Thanks, yes! Setup can be slightly different for everyone. The instructions are good, but I had to reach out to QAD to really get this rest tuned in! Great support at QAD.

Thanks! yes the setup itself is critical (per the QAD reccomendations).
Thanks, I had the same problem and got help from this video.

interesting...If I can find a 3d model of it or make my own. I can 3d print one...? reach out at my website if you are still looking.
Just getting into archery. I picked up a Hoyt helix with a 29” draw. I adjusted it to my draw (27”) would this have affected the timing of my rest?

iThe QAD has been up date it , at this point you just need to line up both line and once the arrow release the rest will drop right way

i fucking hate dropaway rests with every ounce of bl;ood in my body, use whisker biskuits or limb driven rests
You're setting it past 90 degrees.
QAD not quad
If i want to enjoy music I'll watch a music video, lose the music on instructional videos, extremely annoying!
