The key line for me that pointed out the vast difference in mindset between there and here was "celebratory gunfire" in relation to Lebanese response to this cease fire agreement.
One aspect of this conflict that I believe hasn’t been addressed is what the Lebanese people stand to gain from this peace agreement. From my conversations with many Lebanese individuals, there remains a strong desire for Lebanon to return to its pre-1975 status. This includes reducing the influence of external forces, which intensified during the 1990s and have since devastated the country. Their economy, in particular, is in ruins.
The Lebanese Armed Forces are made up of many different faiths of Muslim and Christians. Hezbollah is a Lebanese Shia Islamist political party and paramilitary group. 🤦♂
Reminds me of the operation conducted by the IDF a few weeks ago where they arrested a Hezbollah commander in the north of Lebanon, according to the report the IDF dressed up as Lebanese military and the target did not resist.... That alone explains it all...
As a Lebanese I resent Hezbollah and their supporters they are literally celebrating “victory" rn, they got us into a war we had no interest being in mind you, we were in the worst economic crisis in the last century!
The principle advantage of the green side in this war is their superiority in perfidy. They will spin any lie in the information space and their demographics will believe them or willingly lie alongside them. Israel has succeeded in its mission in Lebanon. It has achieved its stated objectives through its military operations and the ceasefire itself.
The images of Israeli soldiers on the litani river were captured on the litani’s elbow near the golan panhandle. It is the area where the river is the closest to the border, just about 4 miles away, and it is a strategic spot that can sever the Bekaa valley in eastern Lebanon from Southern Lebanon. Israel’s troops have not gone past 5 miles from the border inside Lebanon.
Fortunately, since the "cease fire", Israel has hit Hezbollah in multiple areas, including a hit on a commander in Syria. With the new developments in Syria, and the continued Israeli strikes, I'm hopeful that by the end of this Hezbollah is no more. Thank you for spreading the truth about this war.
Another great video, Preston! (one "nit", when reading the text that you also display, could you highlight the parts you're reading?) I really appreciate your presentation of the facts (collected from across the spectrum)...and your analysis!
Israel is ready for a cease fire. They made it to their objective: the Litani River. The IDF has been strained by having so many reservists active for so long, with a third having served for more than 150 days. This hurts Israel's budget and economy. The IDF is similar to Finland in that they have a relatively small full time component and very large and capable reserve component. There is another class of reservists who are retired, have spent much of their life on active duty (and are now over 55), and are receiving army pensions. Many thousands of these people serve for no additional pay beyond their pension and provide critical skills with their many years of experience. These people, too are tired.

Cool & all that, but not the war I wanted to hear about the end of in this general area of the world. Getting the idea that this was just the side conflict that did not present the most opportunity for profit on any side-- no real estate deals to build hotels were likely to result.
When it comes to actual combat between parties there are no victors. Only the dead and injured. Regardless of who wins you still both lose the fight. For a mindblowing example is Bakhmut and Avdiivka Ukraine. There had been so many losses by the russian side that what they gained really did not compared to what they lost. Hundreds of tanks, armored vehicles, MLRS systems, Artillery, and tens of thousands of men. For Bakhmut alone some figures have been as high as 80,000 dead from russian armed forces and Wagners forces. That was just one battle. Over 200 engagement's on 11/26/2024 from the Ukraine military reports. Makes one ask the question that was asked on Hamburger Hill in Vietnam war. Was it worth it? The russians will have to ask themselves this for decades to come.
It is absolutely occupied. No other country on earth except Israel’s bitch America recognizes it as such. Whether u like it or not, Golan is not lawfully Israel’s. You can’t have a hard on for international law and “Rules Based Order” when Russia comes barreling into Ukraine but have a smug self righteous attitude to the same violations going down in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza Israel and the Middle East. That’s call Hypocrisy and a double standard.
As an Israeli evacuated from Kiryat Shmona, one of the largest cities in northern Israel, I want to share some of my thoughts-thoughts that I believe reflect those of many Israelis-regarding this ceasefire. First and foremost, the vast majority of us are far from happy about it. What we all desire is one thing: safety. And we cannot feel truly safe as long as Hezbollah continues to exist. The moment the ceasefire began, the countdown to the next war with Hezbollah started. The only questions are when and how, not if. If you listen to the mayors of northern cities, you’ll hear unanimous criticism of this decision. They are all urging citizens not to return home, as it is still not safe. That said, some of us, including myself, understand that there are certain advantages to the ceasefire. We are exhausted. Our soldiers are exhausted. We need a break-a chance to recover and regroup. But make no mistake: no one here is delusional enough to believe this ceasefire will be permanent. The only people who might cling to that fantasy are certain Western political leaders, like Biden or Macron, and even they likely see it more as a way to delay the inevitable while posturing as effective peacekeepers. Right now, we need time to secure the release of the hostages held by Hamas, strengthen ties with the Democrats in the U.S. to ensure the flow of critical munitions (which they’ve hesitated to provide due to their distaste for war), and wait for Trump to return to the White House so he can help us finish what we’ve started. The idea of “peace and prosperity” in Lebanon is a pipe dream as long as Hezbollah continues to exist. This group serves no purpose other than to advance Iran’s interests, destroy Israel, and profit from the drug trade. Hezbollah grows stronger by the day, and we will not wait for another October 7th to happen in the North. One such catastrophe was more than enough. And a few words about Iran: we must deal with them, and we will-once Trump is back in the White House. This is not just Israel’s problem; it’s yours as well. There’s a saying: “If you want peace, prepare for war.” We cannot allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. The Ayatollah regime is the worst enemy of both Israel and America. These are fanatical, dictatorial leaders who seek the destruction of not only Israel but also the United States. Too many people in the West are so afraid of war that they fail to see how their fear and inaction only bring it closer. I strongly disagree with the "passemistic" take. On the contrary, it is an opportunity to begin addressing the Iranian threat, which is absolutely necessary. As I mentioned earlier, dealing with Iran is critical-not just for Israel but for the entire West. This ceasefire provides a chance to focus on the bigger picture and take the active steps needed to confront one of the most pressing dangers of our time.
What is a "permanent" ceasefire anyway? Shouldn't that actually be called a truce, armistice, peace agreement, peace treaty or accord? It seems as though a "permanent ceasefire" is like a "forever vacation" - e.g. a vacation is a temporary break from work or routine; if you're on vacation forever, that's retirement.
I feel like permanent ceasefire seems more permanent. Truces and treaties are usually for a specific conflict. You might sign a truce to end one war, and then start another one later. Whereas "permanent ceasefire" means a cessation of military action permanently. Aka, not just an end to the current campaigns/ambitions. But I guess it's all about how you interpret it, ceasefires in the context of Gaza have typically meant short periods so maybe Hezbo would be confused and not understand what the Israeli's mean.
Major Preston is too qualified to message for Trump. (Unless the package is very lucrative). In the spring/summer seasons, I’m hoping his bees do well, but our times seem tumultuous & I appreciate the thoughtfulness! Gobble Gobble! 🦃👍🍁👻
They probably thought Israel would watch the border by satellite, so they were hoping to be able to move material underground without Israel noticing. The further away from the border the entry- and exit points, the less likely that Israel would notice suspicious movement from overhead.

Israel and Lebanon recognize the importance of UNSCR 1701 to achieving lasting peace and security and commit to taking steps towards its full implementation, without violation. 4. These commitments do not preclude either Israel or Lebanon from exercising their inherent right of self-defense, consistent with international law. 5. Without prejudice to the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and its responsibilities, or to commitments in UNSCR 1701 and its predecessor resolutions, Lebanon’s official military and security forces, infrastructure, and weaponry will be the only armed groups, arms, and related materiel deployed in the southern Litani area shown in the attached LAF Deployment Plan (hereinafter “the Southern Litani Area”). 6. Consistent with UNSCR 1701 and its predecessor resolutions, in order to prevent the re-establishment and rearmament of non-state armed groups in Lebanon, any sales or supply of arms and related materiel into Lebanon will be regulated and controlled by the Government of Lebanon. Additionally, all production of arms and related materiel within Lebanon will be regulated and controlled by the Government of Lebanon. 7. In order to implement UNSCR 1701, and upon the commencement of the cessation of hostilities according to paragraph 1, the Government of Lebanon will provide all necessary authorities, including freedom of movement, to Lebanon’s official military and security forces, and instruct them, consistent with UNSCR 1701 and its predecessor resolutions to: a. Monitor and enforce against any unauthorized entry of arms and related materiel into and throughout Lebanon, including through all border crossings, and against the unauthorized production of arms and materiel within Lebanon. b. Starting with the Southern Litani Area, dismantle all existing unauthorized facilities involved in the production of arms and related materiel, and prevent the establishment of such facilities in the future. c. Starting with the Southern Litani Area, dismantle all infrastructure and military positions, and confiscate all unauthorized arms inconsistent with these commitments. 8. The United States and France intend to work within the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L) to enable and achieve a total LAF deployment of 10,000 soldiers to southern Lebanon as soon as possible. Further, the United States and France intend to work with the international community to support the LAF as appropriate to achieve such an increase in its deployment levels in Lebanon, and to improve its capabilities. 9. Upon the commencement of the cessation of hostilities according to paragraph 1, and without prejudice to UNIFIL and its mandate and responsibilities in UNSCR 1701 and its predecessor resolutions, Israel and Lebanon resolve, in co-ordination with UNIFIL, to reformulate and enhance the tripartite mechanism (hereinafter: “the Mechanism”). The reformulated and enhanced Mechanism, hosted by UNIFIL, chaired by the US, and including France, will monitor, verify, and assist in ensuring enforcement of these commitments. a. Israel and Lebanon will cooperate with and facilitate the work of the Mechanism and will ensure their safety. b. The Mechanism will work with the MTC4L to strengthen the capacity and training of the LAF to inspect and dismantle unauthorized sites and infrastructure, above and below ground, confiscate unauthorized weapons, and prevent the presence of unauthorized armed groups. c. Alongside the Mechanism’s work, UNIFIL’s work pursuant to its mandate will continue, including the efforts UNIFIL supports through its convening role that enhance the Mechanism’s effectiveness. 10. Israel and Lebanon will report any alleged violations to the Mechanism and UNIFIL without prejudice to their respective rights to communicate directly with the UN Security Council. The Mechanism will develop appropriate procedures to consult, inspect, gather information, and assist in ensuring the enforcement of these commitments. 11. Upon the commencement of the cessation of hostilities according to paragraph 1, Lebanon will deploy its official military and security forces to all borders, and to all regulated and non-regulated land, air and sea border crossings. In addition, the LAF will deploy forces, set road blocks and checkpoints on all the roads and bridges along the line delineating the Southern Litani Area. 12. Upon the commencement of the cessation of hostilities according to paragraph 1, Israel will withdraw its forces in a phased manner south of the Blue Line, and in parallel the LAF will deploy to positions in the Southern Litani Area shown in the attached LAF Deployment Plan, and will commence the implementation of its obligations under the commitments, including the dismantling of unauthorized sites and infrastructure and confiscating unauthorized arms and related materiel. The Mechanism will coordinate execution by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and LAF of the specific and detailed plan for the phased withdrawal and deployment in these areas, which should not exceed 60 days. 13. Goblins propaganda
Ceasefire: "Please cease screwing me up, I'm done, please stop, can't take it no more"
Preston you are an asset, I’m watching each one of your updates since I discovered you 🙏👍
I want to send this video to many people I know, because it's so clear. Thank you again Preston
As a Lebanese I resent Hezbollah and their supporters they are literally celebrating “victory" rn, they got us into a war we had no interest being in mind you, we were in the worst economic crisis in the last century!
Great video! The vertical video covering you Instead of being on the side was a bit awkward. But I'm sure the edits will improve as they go.
Unemotional factual videos that give great info about what’s actually happening. Appreciate it!
What lies are talking about, seems you understood them and says what they said correctrly
Hoping the IDF doesn’t have to mow the lawn for another decade at least.
Hey broths I appreciate your candor and I admire your attempt to stay apolitical, I’m sure that’s not easy 😅 keep up the good work brother!
I know you’ll be off for Thanksgiving, but I hope you keep up the pace of posting videos next week!
This year we are thankful for YOU, Preston!
Thanks, Preston.
Informative video as always
Fortunately, since the "cease fire", Israel has hit Hezbollah in multiple areas, including a hit on a commander in Syria. With the new developments in Syria, and the continued Israeli strikes, I'm hopeful that by the end of this Hezbollah is no more.
Thank you for spreading the truth about this war.
Well said big bad Preston as always
excited for more ep's of the podcast!
Happy thanksgiving, mate!
Same to you!
The ceasefire was already violated
Fake news sir
@@solexdave758he's right. Confirmed by multiple eyewitnesses.
Finally, everything stopped for a while. Everyone could go home and prepare for Christmas.
Another great video, Preston! (one "nit", when reading the text that you also display, could you highlight the parts you're reading?)
I really appreciate your presentation of the facts (collected from across the spectrum)...and your analysis!
Great analysis thank you for your video 🙏
Great well informed intel analysis 👍
Israel is ready for a cease fire. They made it to their objective: the Litani River. The IDF has been strained by having so many reservists active for so long, with a third having served for more than 150 days. This hurts Israel's budget and economy. The IDF is similar to Finland in that they have a relatively small full time component and very large and capable reserve component. There is another class of reservists who are retired, have spent much of their life on active duty (and are now over 55), and are receiving army pensions. Many thousands of these people serve for no additional pay beyond their pension and provide critical skills with their many years of experience. These people, too are tired.
So long cities in Israel don't have the flag of its enemies then they never lose. That's the whole point of their country
Been waiting for this all night daddy 🎉
Great update, Thanks Preston!
next up: Syria vs Rebes. It has already kicked off.
Great info
The axis of resistance is delusional
The US embargo was a major factor in declaring a ceasefire
Bibi kept on mentioning that
hate the fact u were using an Al Jazeera map at the begining…. You are still great though
Make your own video who give a fuck whos map it is.
Ha, it’s cuz RoeKlein believes in Greater Israel project.

Cool & all that, but not the war I wanted to hear about the end of in this general area of the world.
Getting the idea that this was just the side conflict that did not present the most opportunity for profit on any side-- no real estate deals to build hotels were likely to result.
UNIFIL Is gonna make sure no one is eating their biscuits or crossing the road without looking in both directions

Did all those terror groups adres their Hezbollah's "succes" congratulational letters to Nasrallah personally?
Could you rephrase that in English please so I can answer your question.
Hey Preston I listen to this around 01245 Im I crazy or did I hear a faint sound of a small child in my ear buds? Great job as always
19 hours later…this has not aged well.
If our goal was to stop the Isrealis and help the Iranians why did we ever give the Isrealis help in the first place?

I dont love the image being used at the start having come from Al Jazeera showing the Golan as an occupied territory.
As long as you full understood the source and the bias, it s ok. Golan is no occupiez, but the IDF is temporarly there.
That’s call Hypocrisy and a double standard.
love yo vids
Meaning we'll be talking about the fighting six hours from now at most.
My bet is that trump's administration will deal with hussith in yemen first, not iran itself. I wouldnt be surprised to see even ground operations
Trump should not put troops on the ground in Yemen he should flatten it

Are you going to make videos on what is happening in Syria right now?
Working on it. Hope to have something together to publish tomorrow
Wohoo
The Lebanese army has proven its competence when allowed to operate and if it’s given enough resources
Preston we need an update on the rebel situation in Syria. Something is brewing there.

There are certain things that only conflict can resolve
I knew Preston would make this video quick because of what he said yesterday 😂
I dont get it, why do they need a 3.5km tunnel when they can just pass the border between Syria and Lebanon?
They probably thought Israel would watch the border by satellite, so they were hoping to be able to move material underground without Israel noticing. The further away from the border the entry- and exit points, the less likely that Israel would notice suspicious movement from overhead.
Hezbollah is considered a terrorist militia group by the west and it is not the official fighting force of Lebanon believe it not there is a Lebanese army
Regarding Internet war. You all need to learn from China. They have many companies where u can hire to write whatever they want on internet. Turning black to write, right to wrong. What is see is alot of these hired activities in this war. Israel totally failed to handle internet war.
Peace first
Chamberlian and Daladier were thinking the same.
