Thank you again! I always felt like the point of this song is making due when you don't have a lot to work with. That's why they made a great song out of 3 basic chords! It's a beauty and this great lesson lets me play along. Thank you!!!
Love it, the Minor 11th is a Trower chord....[A Tale Untold] Another reason to own an Electric Mistress Flanger. This has always been my favorite Police tune.
I have been on an Andy Summers binge as of late. It started with the purchase of an Andy Summers in reliced Custom Tele By the painted player guitar company out of the UK. I’m letting it warm up now follow its long journey . How to believe this video was waiting for me today! Thanks Howard
Great lesson. Just want to point out one detail: When you listen e.g. to the intro of the original track, Summers does one of his hallmarks, namely, Lenny Breau -type harp harmonics, which adds those high notes to the sound.
Hi Howard thanks for all you do sir. May I be so bold to ask whether you might consider either of these Police classics: Omegaman / Secret Journey? Thanks again Howard - Steve D
I never get tired of listening to Andy Summers❤❤❤❤❤
It's so cool to hear a guitarist talk and share about that song in 2022. Thanks !
It is a very nice tutorial, thank you very much.
If you spent the next 30 days doing only The Police lessons, I would be fine with it.

Hi Steve - I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of tutorial time on more Police :-)
Awesome! Thankyou
Would it be possible to have a look at doing a lesson on the Police song "Beds to big without you"
Thankyou
Great suggestion!
Gracias por el video, vi algunos vídeos de como tocar la canción, pero ninguno me ha convencido, hasta este momento
Saludos desde México
I love this

Thanks for your support :-)
Niiiiiiiiiiice 🎸🎸🎸🎸
If you spent the rest of the year doing the police guitar lessons I wouldn’t be upset.
Any way you can do some of the tunes off of Journey's 1st album (Of a Lifetime, Topaz, ....)
What pedal do you use
It's the Sonicake Chorus Pedal :-)
