I once saw a tournament where someone was playing with orcs. And they picked almost all the lowest price per model that they could. They were playing matches where one player started in the center and the other played on the edge. All their models took up so much space in the center that they allowed them to make a circle and go past the standard deployment area because it wouldn't all fit otherwise. They ended up with a good third of the table, which kind of made it difficult for the other guy to get things setup. Sadly I didn't see the end of the match, not sure how they were scoring it. If it was based on the defending player keeping control of the center then the orc guy won, simply because the other player which was playing space marines couldn't kill enough even if every dice they rolled had killed an orc. If it was based on number of kills or even just points killed the space marine player won, the orcs were very bad at killing anything he had and he just stayed at ranged and gunned orcs down faster than they could get to his units as they moved around the edge of the board.

A mob is a mob, and keeping enemy bodies from reaching points of value is almost the same as deleting them, but it's funny that you can just focus on surviving, and holding ground, instead of needing to kill the enemy, before their battle royale collars just explode, at the end of round 5.
