The &honey hair oil is for use AFTER the conditioner. The numbers on the products are the order they are to be used. (1.0 Shampoo, 2.0 Conditioner, 3.0 Treatment Oil). You are throwing money down the drain (literally) using the oil before washing your hair. These products are so expensive, so I would suggest using them correctly so you don’t waste your money. This goes the same for Kaminomoto. It is for hair growth and you’re supposed to put it on your scalp overnight. Please research proper use before sharing.
I can read Japanese and almost finished my &honey oil, the video gave me a scare I thought I read the instruction on the label wrong the first time I bought it 😂 Glad I found this comment 🙌
@@roxannezucker4655 It does matter, a lot, when you have a huge audience and you show them WRONG on how to use these products. I’m sure she got these products for free. But guess what, other people don’t. They buy the products with their hard earned money and using them INCORRECTLY does not help. Believe what you want, and good luck to you.
Sulfate are not bad per se, they are just strong cleaners. so they are recommended for oily hair, but might be too aggressive (or too much cleaning) for dry hair
I can attest that the Tsubaki products are heaven sent... Like where have you been all my life!!!! I use the Premium Repair line (shampoo, conditioner, mask with the spray conditioner) and it beats any American brand haircare, no matter the cost...nothing else comes close to its magic.
I use Oshima Tsubaki brand (the same brand of the camellia oil she uses in the video) and for me as well these Japanese products blow American products out of the water and I've tried a TON. I like Oshima Tsubaki over Sheshiedo because it has more camellia oil in the products.
The shampoo would be considered sulfate-free by Western standards because it is free of SLS/SLE which are stronger surfactants. I have an oily scalp so shampoos with SLS are the only ones that effectively cleanse my hair. I do a cocktail of clarifying shampoo with SLS 1st & then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo for the 2nd wash, then hair mask (I use FINO). I've been putting the clarifying shampoo in a color application bottle to focus on my scalp so my ends won't get dry. Even though this shampoo doesn't meet my criteria for giving me the best clean, I will try it out to replace my current moisturizing shampoo which contains coconut oil in the 1st few ingredients (makes my scalp oilier, which makes me have to wash more frequently). I love the ingredients for the honey shampoo they are non-comedogenic & acnegenic (unlike coconut oil) which is what I have been looking for as of late. So I will buy from your link bc I can tell I will like this shampoo!
I have been using the Kaminomoto Hair Tonic for a year now several times per week. I massage for 5 minutes after applying to the scalp. My hair is thicker, my scalp do healthy (used to be itchy) and some thinning spots on the side have filled in nicely. I also use the Honey Melty Moist Oil. My hair never looked better. Great review!
japanese haircare litteraly changed my hair thank to you audrey i discovered them! This video bring me memories of your old video when you tried things for one week too! love youu have a nice weekend 🥰
Actually Japanese products have been made for thick hair, many Japanese women have thick hair. I have thick curly Peruvian hair and only use Japanese products and they work so well with my hair!
Never heard of these japanese 🍙🍡 hair products... That fino hair mask is very popular, but the rest didn't know anything about it. Glad you did this video 😹😹😹
Really? Most of the products that she’s using have been iconic in the Japanese beauty industry for decades. And the &honey products blew up within the last few years.
I stumble on your video and clicked cuz I’m really trying to do some serious repair to my damaged hair. I don’t have any of these products but was super inspired to try using what I do have at home. I have very oily roots and very dry ends. I usually wash my hair every two to three days using a dry shampoo in between. Today was wash do so before I washed I brushed my hair to get rid of extra hairs. Then I mixed together in my palm vitamin e oil, caster oil and jajoba and ran it through my hair. I massaged it into my roots because all those are great skin care oils and I wanted to treat my scalp to a massage. Then I made sure to pay close attention to my ends and got every hair covered. I left the oil mixture on for 15 min while I did some things around the house then washed it out. I used my Giovanni biotin & collagen strengthening shampoo. Already my hair felt different than it usually does. It was more smooth and felt very clean. Then I finished with the Giovanni nutrafix hair reconstructor deep conditioner. I left that on for 10 min as recommended and then rinsed with lukewarm water. My hair felt so soft and silky!!! I’ve been using this shampoo/ conditioner for a month and my hair hasn’t felt this good. I let my hair towel dry for 10 min then lightly brushed it. At this point I usually have a ton of knots. My hair is very fine but I have a lot of it so it gets tangled. But this time the brush went right through. I finished with a little jojoba oil on my ends then blew dry May hair. When I tell you how soft and shiny my hair is!!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration. I don’t have the budget for a ton of products but it was nice to have some tips I could run with!!!
Can you share with us a complete hair routine with only Japanese hair products that you like? I don’t mean product reviews, but actual products that you’ve tried for a good amount of time and have had great results with.
In case someone is reading the comments! she used the &honey line incorrectly the right order is 1)shampoo 2)conditioner 3)hair oil that’s the reason it didn’t work on her don’t waste money doing it the way she did these products are a bit expensive.
All Silicones and Sulfates aren’t created equal. Some can be horrible and that’s what gives them all a bad rap. But some are very gentle and even naturally derived. I wash my hair once a week and actually use a naturally derived sulfate shampoo because it’s fine for my hair texture/type/damage level.
Do you have a keratin treatment in your hair currently? Your hair is extremely shiny and straight which is not how it was years ago, i remember you even made a video where you tried the curly girl method and you had naturally wavy hair. Is it just the products you use over-time straighteneing your hair out? I just can't believe how your hair is so shiny and straight now, which is a very good thing in terms of it being so shiny and silky, when it wasn't years ago.
I do not have a keratin treatment but yes I have noticed the same thing with my hair. I think it’s mostly that I’m consistently using products that smooth out my hair. Back when I filmed that video, I was not using anything on my hair aside from shampoo and conditioner…and I don’t even think the shampoo and conditioner that I was using was that smoothing to my hair. It could also be that pregnancy changed my hair. Since filming that video, I’ve given birth to 2 babies. However I think ultimately it’s the products
@@AudreyVictoria Ahhhh i never even thought about the pregnancies. Thank you for explaining that. I'm currently going through a hair health journey myself and i'm just finding it difficult to stay consistent with using products and having a routine because my days are so full on. From what you said, i do think it's the consistent use of smoothening and softening products that transformed your hair for the better so hopefully this motivates me cause honeyyyyy your hair is like a sheet of silk it is so beautiful
You can try using Indian pre wash oils. I know you tried amla oil but it isn't the best. Try oils that have many herbal extracts in it like twenty+ herbs. Japanese pre wash products like that hair growth tonic must be great but Indian pre wash oils are great and cheap. (Other Indian hair care products are no good though). Also there is tamanu oil that is good for scalp. Tamanu is a nut and its oil is healing for skin.
You may want to try hair products under the Korean brand Julyme. Its very popular in the Philippines. Ive been using it for half a year now and there’s a huge improvement in the texture of my hairt
As someone who uses Honey and the conditioner, i can agree with you that it feels more lathering on oily hair and works better on oily hair. I have very oily hair and the Honey Shampoo, conditioner, and the hair oil has worked wonders so far! 🩷
Hi! What did you think of the Tsubaki shampoo? I have fine hair and was wondering if this was worth the splurge :) I am currently using your recommended Pureology and I love it.
i enjoyed watching your video and your hair is to envy. i just don't see myself investing that much time on my hair, much more so spending.. i just do shampoo and 2-3x/week conditioning. that's it lol!
0:35 OMG I'm actually using that Honey shampoo now!!!! .... it's okay. I don't smell a "good scent". Kind light, could barely smell it. Conditioner is bleh. Not doing much for me.
I have thick, curly, dry hair - what Japanese products would you recommend I try. Thank you 🙏🏻 Not all alcohols are actually drying, there's a couple that are moisturising. ❤❤❤
The &honey shampoo is not worth they hype. Even though i washed my hair as i do with any shampoo, my hair does not feel clean, sticky and oily. I will never ever waste my money on this brand again.
Hi beautiful items I use the tasibuki oil too.tru the tsAbuki Isabuki shampoo and conditioner it's on really smells amazing it's in red please bottles bottles my name is Valeria h I'm on my son's account thank you
Let us know how to respect the Almighty Who sits on the throne of Heaven. Him Who is superior over everything. Using the name of God in vain mindlessly is disrespectful. Especially when you combine it with a bad word. It is holy. You can ask yourself this question, "Why do I take the name of the most Powerful God in vain to express an emotion?" The third of The Ten Commandments states, "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain" (Exodus 20:7). Using "Gosh" "Jeez" "Gee" is also taking the Lord's name in vain because it is an alternative word to not sound offensive. But it is still wrong as it comes from a Holy Name. "God" and "Jesus"
Y’all need to stop trying to make Japan happen again, their time has passed, they couldn’t keep up with Korea and China. Japanese products and websites literally look like they’re stuck in 2015😂 They can stick to anime and fancy toilets

what does the camelia oil smell like
It smells nothing or very light smell of erb
I have the exact same oil and it has no scent. Fragrance free, 100% camellia oil.
Does it have Llamelar in it?
You’re supposed to use the hair oil LAST 🤦🏽♀️
watching the &honey oil go down the drain 😭😭😭 its after washing omg
Hai fatto il trattamento lisciante alla keratina?
la tecnica è così vecchia in italia arrivata troppo tardi (nel
mondo si usava 10
anni fa)e ormai nessuno lo fa ,perché rovina i capelli
Can i ask why alcohol is a key ingredient everyone says avoid it and that this destroys the whole formula
Depends on the alcohol type and function in the formula
Yeah for example cetyl alcohol is great and pretty hydrating
From what I’ve read, short-chain alcohols like ethanol can be drying. Fatty alcohols like cetyl alcohol can help smooth and soften hair
its the pronunciation for me dawg >_
