I can not get Bixby to update on my S3 Frontier. When I launch it, via phone or wtach menu, it asks me to update and when I touch update, the "wait circle" appears, screen goes dark after some time and I can start the same loop again and again, but the update never seems to go through. :-(

I thought the old 'ok gear' was stupid and laggy, but with Bixby, the A.I has reach a new minimum. I'm able to (in 1/10 times) start a timer or alarm, it never interprets the (Norwegian) names right even if I pronounce them in 'english', and seldom even awakes when I say 'Hi, Bixby'. I really do not have that bad english.. :/ It usually never gets even my very simple commands right, and most often just shuts down and shows the clockface even after starting the blue maggot. Really crappish! If I use voice commands on my phone, most works, mostly through google. Why is not the commands possible to send to the phone? It would have made it quite more useful..
All the voice assistance have a way of recognizing and understanding your voice and just to it. But what I will say is the BIXBY voice on the Gear s3 is still not perfect, it is very slow, sometimes laggy and not as good as on the phone. It works separately from your phone that is just how voice assistance work on all my smart watches. (Both Apple Watch and Samsung watches)
I don't get it. Aren't you just supposed to say "hi Bixby" and it wakes up? I can't get it to do that. I've got voice wakeup ON and Voice response to "Always".
This update has destroyed my watch. I have gone from getting a full 3 days out of a charge, to my watch going from 100% to 0% in less than an our. What annoys me is that Samsung haven't responded. I'm not the only one that has this issue either.
And this is why i didnt update my s3 frontier. Because one time when i updated my s3 to latest update, it suddenly started to drain my battery rapidly from 4 days to 1 day max .... after sending it for repair they replaced it with stock rom and till now i have always 4 days of battery life /never updating it again/

Yes, it shows notification from all the apps in your phone and you can also reply messages from apps like whatsApp, viber, line and many others.

Check if it's up to date or check the settings on your phone or restart your watch because mine works perfectly.

After years of S3 Ownership, the S voice and Bixby do not work. Same as my Samsung fridge, total fail.

Right now it is only available for European and Asian version. For the Americans version, it’s up to the carriers to release it.
