This is you're best video. Bravo. And im not just saying that because we appear in it! (Ps... loved this movie growing up. But you're right, every time the kids appeared on the screen, the movie got boring. I miss Ritter.
I love your sketches, you have great talent and I can't wait to see your He-Man review! This was another one of my quirky childhood favorites. The animated segment and the Duane's Underworld segments were my favorite scenes and this was actually my introduction to Salt N Pepa!
Thanks a lot :) yeah the cartoon segments always stuck out to me as a favorite when I saw this when I was a kid. Getting the original Looney Tunes animation supervisor really paid off because I feel like I hear that comment a lot when I talk about this movie with other people. Too bad this movie didn't take off more, I think it's super fun. My He-Man review is probably 85% done, I'm so eager to finish it. Hopefully it's worth the months of work. Thanks for watching :)
@@mikesilva3868 I haven't seen it, but I did see the remake and enjoyed that quite a bit. Alexandre Aja is an intense director. But I've heard good things about the original too.
Re-watched it recently and noticed a pretty big mistake in one scene. At one point the son, Darryl Knable, is hanging onto a post in the backyard to keep from being sucked into the giant satellite and at that point you can see a pair of adult hands, clear as day, on screen holding him up. Hard to believe it was missed in editing.
I know what you're talking about, it's the most insane screwup. How did the editor/director/literally anyone watching the movie before release not catch that???
That intro was so trippy. I thought I was gonna get zapped for a moment too. LMAO! Stay tuned looks like a lot of fun. This was very creative. Awesome review.

They never kissed, never noticed that. I wonder if at the time, John Ritter was just uncomfortable kissing another woman. Him and his widow just began their relationship. (I am not sure if they were married yet or just dating). Between this and the weird casting of Problem Child 2, maybe there is something to that.
Awesome! I saw this in theaters when it came out, and I thought the Drivung "Over" Mrs. Daisy segment was the funniest thing ever! Haven't really seen it since I was a kid... I'm gonna have to check this one out as an adult... as soon as I grow up I will;) And who's that handsome devil in the second channel you visited?!? Great video!!

🤣Great video as always, I saw this movie ages ago. I forgot about a lot of those bits in the movie, & also how huge satellite dishes were in the 90s! Seriously, it was like are you watching TV, or do you work for SETI? I'm also truly jealous of your production resources. All around your videos are great from writing to production. All I got at my disposal is a cell phone, an app, clamp lights, & neon green poster board for green screen.
Thanks for all the kind words. I definitely need to up my lighting game, I have one quality LED light but other than that I do my best to get creative with already existing lights/lamps. Changing the bulbs to higher wattage can help. The camera also does a lot of the work tbh. Looks like the green posterboard is working for you becuase your greenscreen keypulls are pretty top notch. Keep at it though man cuz your stuff is a lot fun.
@@WhatWereYouWatching Thanks appreciate it. :) Just trying to work with what I can afford at the moment. I do have an idea that I'd like to run by you. I have a website. I use to enjoy commenting on articles about true, stupid, & weird crime stories that were in the news, that I thought were funny. Basically, the kind of stuff that only happens in Florida. Like, "man fights traffic at intersection with Samurai sword" Anyway, over the last year, I've just been more so using it as a dumping ground for my videos since I've now focused more on video. I do want to expand the site a bit more though. Not gonna lie, web traffic to it is pretty much dead at the moment. lol (Maybe 10-25 visitors a day) but I want to start reaching out to other smaller UA-cam creators to ask them if they would allow me to post their video's on my website. I see it as a win/win cause it could eventually boost web traffic to the site, & it's another location where your video can be found. You sir are the first person I'm asking. Watcha think? I was gonna post my site Url in this message, but was worried it get flagged as spam.
Cool! This is my site. whirlwindreports.com/ I'll give "What Were You Watching?" a tab at the top sometime this week and add "Stay Tuned'. Overtime, I'll start asking other creators too. I figured, I have this site that pretty much does nothing. I mine as well use it. Plus, supporting other creators & working together is really the only way to grow. This idea is still in its infancy though, & always open to new ideas. Overtime, instead of posting other creators videos myself, I'll give access so creators can post themselves. It's just that since I technically don't know anyone, granting site access to someone right off the bat, isn't something that I should just handout, but over time (a couple months) I will.
We had this recorded from HBO when I was a kid. I freaking love this movie. It just flowed so well that anytime I can watch it I do. Oh hey it's on UA-cam. Well I'm off. Great use of Green Screen and effects. I've dabbled a bit myself 😎🤙

I definitely tried to bring this into class when I was in middle school (probably around '97ish) for some kind of after school movie-watching club event, and the teacher didn't allow it as it was too "borderline" appropriate. Your teacher was cooler!
Well sir sigh I guess this is a good video that you obviously spent a lot of time and is pretty amazing and should be commended for making me laugh, but I mean I guess it sums it up as it’s fine....
The problem with Helen is that she's a 90's female character: she's an accessory to the story of the male protagonist. She doesn't matter all that much. If you watch a lot of movies from the 80's and 90's, you'll see a lot of that: the female characters are just kinda there. The shift to women being more part of the story, instead of being an accessory to it, became more mainstream in the late 90's, early 2000's.
I'm afraid you're probably entirely correct. Which is a shame! She would have brought that extra something that would have made the ending something special. Maybe in the inevitable remake/reboot there will be more inclusion. Thanks for watching :)
