I currently have my home at 55 degs, thanks CO fall weather! That's the temp I like to sleep at. Crazy right? Purchased one of these but it hasn't arrived yet and am hoping it helps this summer when I have to turn the AC up to 70 at night. I think I'll run mine like you detailed, with an alternate heavier down comforter.

I crawl in bed and freeze, especially my feet. But then between 2 - 4 AM I am on fire with night sweats! UGH! I love to put flannel sheets on the bed for fall, winter, and early spring, but my husband is always a bake oven in bed, so he doesn't like flannel sheets.😕 Thanks for the great review!

Wondering how the blanket, size-wise, lays on the bed? To many times, I've gotten a "King" size blanket and it barely fits. I want some overhang, especially on the sides. Would you mind sharing that?

Thank you for researching about the Sorona fabric. Happy to learn that the material is made by a company who's products are USDA Biopreferred, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Certified, and is partnered with 4 industry leading sustainability & people/environment impact reduction. Also recieved the Frost & Sullivan Best Practices award in 2017 for European Bio-Based Materials Company of the Year because of its innovative work with Sorona fiber.
My main concern with this product was that it sounded too good to be true without being overmanufactured and full of chemicals. Turns out, that is not the case at all and it, in-fact, is even better than too good to be true. LOL Would love an update on if you/your hubby still uses it and how it's held up over time.
    Thank you Denise!!

Hey, you. I know what you mean about wanting a blanket to have the warmth factor. I have some of them and keep them on a sofa. On my bed I have multiple blankets of various weaves and weight. This is an excellent, honest review. Must admit I laughed when you said the blanket didn’t stop your hot flashes. Girl, if there was a tried and true magic bullet for them, well, lol, the inventor would be a millionaire. Enjoy them as a rite of passage. 😉♥️

I love your reviews (wigs and other products). I believe your reviews are trustworthy. I suffer with night sweats along with my hot flashes. My hubby passed away in May so I may give this comforter a try since I no longer have a bed partner. By the way, you look so good in your Girl Mono. Ellen Willie is finally making GM in a gray color (Stone Grey just became available on Oct 1). Yay. I’m not sure which I will order first….Girl Mono or the Cooling Comforter. Things that make me go ummm 🦊.

I just saw that about Girl Mono! I would LOVE a chance to review the new colors!! As for the comforter... the money back guarantee made me so happy! I always worry that someone will be unhappy with something I share, and this really does remove all risk. Sending you hugs my friend... I think about your and your new season of life without your husband and just wish I could hug you in person.

I couldn't tell as you were making the bed, do you use a top sheet or to get the cooling benefits do you have to sleep directly under it? I know lots of people only use a bottom sheet and sleep directly under whatever they use on top but I am old fashion I guess and want my top sheet.
And great review gf! Loved you doing it from your bed! Congratulations on all the different companies reaching out to you too!! It's awesome and when you are a famous influencer/reviewer I will be able to say, " I knew her back in the day"!! ❤️

I totally forgot to mention that so thank you for asking! You do have to sleep directly under it to get the full benefit, although my husband still uses a flat sheet under it and is still getting benefit... but I find I need the blanket over me directly to really help with the hot flashes (because of how cool to the touch it is). We usually use flat sheets (old school) so that is an important distinction...

Thanks Denise ❤️ I'm too old for the cooling comforter, usually there are several wool blankets on my bed cuz I'm so cold. That hot 🥵 flash thing, well I'm done with that...lol. Because I trust you, I feel that your reviews are honest to a fault be it wigs or something else. BTW what wig are you wearing in this video? You look so pretty. See you in the next review ❤️

It is Ellen Wille Girl Mono in Safranred rooted! One of my all time favorites! I agree that this blanket isn't for everyone... and it is so expensive that I felt I needed to at least share my thoughts on it. The fact that my husband loves it so much is a huge positive, even if it is only moderately helpful to me (but with so many hot flashes at night I will take moderate improvement over none!). Did you take something to help you get through your menopause symptoms? I am in the process of doing research and feel the need to add something to try to help me with them at this point.

I live in Queensland, Australia... It is extremely hot and humid. I wouldn't say that I have hot flashes, it's more like it's hot ALL the time when you don't have the aircon on all night.
Would you recommend this for a hot climate?

Hi, this was perfect because I’m looking at a new mattress and cooling fabrics for bedding! Love your bedspread where did you get that?
I haven’t really watched any videos lately but I wanted to tell you that Wig looks excellent on you and you look wonderful!

This is the bedspread that we have... I absolutely LOVE it! We have had it since August of 2018 and it still looks AMAZING and is going strong. It has quite a bit of weight to it... so if you like weighted blankets this is great!! My husband loves the look but can't stand the weight so he doesn't cover up with it. HUGS! amzn.to/3e1mRLz

Everytime you talk about hot flashes my heart goes out to you. Please, please please look into either Dr. Taylor or Dr Louise Newsome on You Tube. They are ahead in their fields of women's medicine. They are are wonderful and will save your life. They aren't selling anything they just want women to be heathly in a time that the medical community is letting all women down.
