As for Shevchenko, he was the great striker that every team feared. He could score from the right boot, left boot and had supreme positional awareness, superb header of the ball, great predatory instinct, had plenty of pace off the ball and with the ball. His tenacious running, energetic positioning and accurate strike of the ball from any of his feet made him the most feared footballer in 2004. And that is why the result of him winning the ballon dor that year was really no surprise and there should be little complains
Robo Gamer...you posted a joke on 50 goals a season with respect to Lingardinho.. But Messi actually scored 73 GOALS and provided 29 ASSISTS in 2011/12 season...only difference is Messi’s stats aren’t a joke...he actually DID achieve those numbers.. #GOAT 🐐
Neymar deserved to be 3rd both 2015 and 2017 but i agree suarez was slightly disrespected its not his marketability its the fact that he was barcas 2md best amd most important player
Before Messi and Ronaldo, I always felt that the Ballon d'or winner was based heavily on who they played for and which sports sponsors they had. I can't see someone sponsored by New Balance winning it over someone who is sponsored by Nike or Adidas or maybe I'm just sceptical
Nah 17/18 was De Gea, man single handedly kept United 2nd in the league, kept 18 clean sheets winning the golden glove, was widely regarded as the worlds best keeper, made a record 14 saves vs Arsenal, was in team of the season and team of the year, and only got 29th place. The man should’ve been arguably top 15. This is why Ballon D’or trophy awards can be BS, just because United didn’t win silverware doesn’t mean a thing. Ballon D’or is an individual award and De Gea should’ve definitely ranked higher
The award is a joke. Stats aren’t exactly everything but to be honest in an individual’s award they really should be. Players who score in 1 big game get loads of recognition and players who do well in the World Cup get recognition. The World Cup lasts for 2 of the 52 weeks in a year yet whenever it happens, like 6 of the top 10 players are World Cup wonders who were terrible the rest of the year. The voting is also biased. If you are not a flashy, skilful dribbler with a marketable name then you can’t win. Defenders and goalkeepers have no chance. The highest goalscorers in the world Robert Lewandowski and Ciro Immobile could score another 40 goals between now and Christmas and they still would finish outside the top 10 behind someone like Bruno Fernandes who went to a big name club who was struggling and now they’re doing quite good. Don’t get me wrong Bruno is good but he’s not even close to Immobile and Lewandowski
i agree with you many players get recognition out of 2 games but i dont think consistency is the right think to value . Bruno Fernandes is a new player for those who dont know portuguese players and of course he hasnt the career Immobile and Lewandowski have and to compare those too is stupid as well Immobile is a good player but to think he is far better than bruno fernandes is just stupid. Immobile isnt a world class player and will never be... he is the top player of a average team and that says all about him put him on another team and he will flop like he did before
Watch De Bruyne be disrespected this year, simply because he didn't score enough goals. Despite being a liverpool fan I have to say De Bruyne should be in the top 5 this year for Ballon D'or. I could say the same for Lewandowski, who should come top 3 if I was being honest, but I have hope that Lewa will be among the top 3 and maybe even win (debatable whether he should win it or not).
I bet you missed that famous story In 2007, Younis Mahmoud was the top scorer in Asian Cup, and he was the captain of Iraq side that won the cup that year. I think Younis deserved higher than 29 rank that year . He led an underdog team into a fairytale journey beating the likes of Australia and South Korea to pave the way for first Asian title for war torn Iraq at that time That is more dramatic underdog story than Vardy with Leicester
No it isn't. Beating a load of teams that can't make it out of the group stages of world cups is a lot different to beating teams who have won champions Leagues.
i know it’s not in the video, and from 1986, but Duckadam was robbed of a balon d’or after a clean sheet against Barcelona in the champions league final ON PENALTIES. Best goalie no one knows about.
In 17/18, Salah scored 44 goals and got 16 assists. That's 3 goal contributions less than Messi (45 and 18), and 8 goal contributions MORE than Ronaldo (44 and 8). He even continued his form into the second half of the year, just like Messi did, and Ronaldo dropped off a little bit. But somehow he got 6th. Behind Mbappe (4th) with 21 goals and 15 assists, thats 24 less goal contributions than Salah. Griezmann finished 3rd with 29 goals and 15 assists, 17 goal contributions less than Salah. Salah should definetly made top 3 in 2018
If Rashford finishes this season strong, and goes MENTAL next season with 15 goals before 2021 and Man Utd doing well, I can see him on the podium because FIFA will like his marketability
I think gerrard deserved to be a lot higher bc he was the best midfielder in the world in 2004 and 2005 but it's the ballon d'or which is a population contest and people don't realize what he actually did
I don't know when exactly did it happen but watching two Ramsay's ranting passionately has become my favourite pastime in lockdown afternoons. Gordon from... Do I really need to ? and Michael from HITC Sport.

To be fair, you vote for first second and third, if you don’t feel a guy deserves those positions, even if he deserved fourth per say, it makes sense that they won’t get points
I dont think that Mourinho and Etoo have bad relationship despite what the journalists say the always appeared good to each other and after that event I think Eto'o said he would even play left winger only for Jose. And in general he only speaks with respect about Mourinho. I think he mostly trolled the journalists rather than Jose with his famous celebration. But the papers see it otherwise
The one thing I don't like about this list is he talks about trophies throughout for example 2010 and 2011 entries for the treble and quadruple of inter and Barca but than in 2013 turns around and says trophies aren't everything.
That’s bs, Son deserved his spot in that Ballon d’Or list. He practically carried Spurs to the Champions League final and even though he got off to a late start in the Prem he caught fire immediately after that Chelsea match. If anything, Son probably deserved a higher spot if Harry Kane wasn’t getting so much damn attention he probably would get more recognition

His tenacious running, energetic positioning and accurate strike of the ball from any of his feet made him the most feared footballer in 2004.
And that is why the result of him winning the ballon dor that year was really no surprise and there should be little complains
Yeah jesse lingard got robbed off the ballon dor
50 goals a season deserves a ballon dor
huh!?
Ik its a joke but bruh 😂
Robo Gamer...you posted a joke on 50 goals a season with respect to Lingardinho..
But Messi actually scored 73 GOALS and provided 29 ASSISTS in 2011/12 season...only difference is Messi’s stats aren’t a joke...he actually DID achieve those numbers..
#GOAT 🐐
Neymar deserved to be 3rd both 2015 and 2017 but i agree suarez was slightly disrespected its not his marketability its the fact that he was barcas 2md best amd most important player
Deco was a magician in 2004 wining everything that year except euro 2004 losing the final to Greece.
Irish guy looking fresh today
The disrespect on Deco
Kaká spent half the year in a wheelchair during 2010 not 09 haha!
I bet you missed that famous story
In 2007, Younis Mahmoud was the top scorer in Asian Cup, and he was the captain of Iraq side that won the cup that year. I think Younis deserved higher than 29 rank that year . He led an underdog team into a fairytale journey beating the likes of Australia and South Korea to pave the way for first Asian title for war torn Iraq at that time
That is more dramatic underdog story than Vardy with Leicester
No it isn't. Beating a load of teams that can't make it out of the group stages of world cups is a lot different to beating teams who have won champions Leagues.
The fact that Ronaldo didn't win it in 2018, Van Dijk in 2019, Dzeko didn't make the top10 in 2009 and 17 are the biggest stand out to me
Messi deserved it in 2019 tho
@@TobiasPlays03 Your current profile picture is the World Cup in Qatar, so stuff it.
Suggestion. An XI of players who were bought after a good World Cup but flopped in the Prem.
i know it’s not in the video, and from 1986, but Duckadam was robbed of a balon d’or after a clean sheet against Barcelona in the champions league final ON PENALTIES. Best goalie no one knows about.
9:27
ON PAR WITH HARRY KANE?
Kane scored fucking 56 goals that year more than Ronaldo and Messi. Kane should in fact have finished higher than 10th.
Salah should definetly made top 3 in 2018
I reckon Irish guy is locked in a dungeon and is slowly turning insane
If Rashford finishes this season strong, and goes MENTAL next season with 15 goals before 2021 and Man Utd doing well, I can see him on the podium because FIFA will like his marketability
10:21 maybe because hazard was absolutely amazing at Chelsea
Luca Toni !! Now that's and underated and forgotten player
Legend says ribery is still crying about not winning the 2013 ballon d’or
Should do the same type of video for PFS player of the year
I think gerrard deserved to be a lot higher bc he was the best midfielder in the world in 2004 and 2005 but it's the ballon d'or which is a population contest and people don't realize what he actually did
I don't know when exactly did it happen but watching two Ramsay's ranting passionately has become my favourite pastime in lockdown afternoons.
Gordon from... Do I really need to ? and
Michael from HITC Sport.
Video recommendation: worst Var decisions that went against your teams this season that were wrong
Salah in 2018 should’ve won the ballon dor he was on fire 🔥
Salah was godamn robed 2019 and 2018 that man is a legend don't forget pl is the greatest league and Sala scored 70 GOALS IN 2 SEASONS HE WAS SURELY A BALANDoR WINNER
Video idea league table if everyone could only play players who graduated from there academy
I need an opinion on this. If Chelsea had won the champions league in 2005, would Lampard win the ballon d'or that year.
The one thing I don't like about this list is he talks about trophies throughout for example 2010 and 2011 entries for the treble and quadruple of inter and Barca but than in 2013 turns around and says trophies aren't everything.
you should do every clubs worst player to get a starting place, e.g Paul Koncheskey, Liverpool
Video idea: Ranking, best team in the premier league based on the highest points tally in one season in
their history
That’s bs, Son deserved his spot in that Ballon d’Or list. He practically carried Spurs to the Champions League final and even though he got off to a late start in the Prem he caught fire immediately after that Chelsea match. If anything, Son probably deserved a higher spot if Harry Kane wasn’t getting so much damn attention he probably would get more recognition
9:23 Harry Kane was the top scorer of the year 2017 scoring just the 24 goals more than Dzeko so yeah Kane was deservedly in the top 10
Edin Dzeko 2017: 32 Goals Harry Kane 2017: 49 and most in Europe for the calendar year. Can’t wait for your tattoo when Brentford go up
Hey, amazing! Suggestion- Most underrated 11 of this time- Sergio Aguero- Striker, Cesar Azpelicute-Right Back etc
wrong chanel dude.
@@nevermind8063 why?!
@@aarjavjain1036 suggest this on HITC Sevens. He does these videos.
Also Aguero is not under rated bro. He is properly rated.
0:01 wtf is the hand gesture?
You should do a video on people who won the ballen dor but shouldn't of. Evdry years player who should of won or had a good argument to win it but didnt
