Most heart-wrenching moment for West Ham: When we lost 3-2 to Liverpool considering we were leading and inches away from breaking Liverpool’s unbeaten record. This was before Watford.
Nah because the Wolves game basically settled the title race. The Norwich game was early in the season so they could still win the season but Wolves was more middle of the season.
For me, Our (Liverpool) rock bottom moment was Adrian shitting the bed vs Athleti to knock us out of the Champions League... Although Sarr tearing us a new arsehole wasn’t exactly pleasant either... Still though... Been a great season
Atletico is a big team though with great players and Llorente is turning out to be a great signing. Watford on the other hand are in a relegation battle and you conceded goals to Sarr and Deeney who can be good but are also very inconsistent.
@@rowdyabhi98 thing is we knew that if we couldn't overturn the 1-0 our season was pretty much over, given the title was all but wrapped up and were out of the domestic cups
As a Liverpool fan, I personally didn't feel as bad after the Watford defeat as I did after our CL exit at Anfield to Atletico Madrid. For the Watford game, I just laughed at how blatantly they were targeting Lovren and even at when Deeney, who I'm a fan of, basically admitted to it in his post match interview. I was also happy for the young Senegalese winger Ismail Sarr, he looks a real talent and maybe even a potential future replacement for Mané. The Extra Time defeat to Atleti though ... ugh. The MEMES. The TROLLING. "There's always Anfield" said Robbo. After actually being in the lead too. It also didn't help that people were now calling Adrian the new Karius even after he won us the Super Cup months earlier.
9:08 Yes this was painful to watch but we started to see some fight from the players after that game as we started scoring more goals after that game. I would’ve said our 4-0 defeat to Oxford United because not only were they Oxford United but it was the first game Roberto played in and every West Ham fan new then that we were in for a bumpy ride in the prem.
Leicester should have been when they played the highlights of the 9-0 against Southampton at the King power stadium and then proceeded to lose against Southampton 😂
TooManyBrownies I guess, but when we were facing Sheffield we were in a battle for top 4 and we did not show up and no one looked Like they were hungry for the win
That 5-2 defeat at home to Chelsea was in hindsight the best thing that could have happened to us because it gave us a massive kick up the arse. It was horrific at the time and massively uncharacteristic of the Wolves we’ve come to know under Nuno, so it definitely deserves its place here, but with the benefit of hindsight it turned out to be the wake up call the team needed at that time.
Arsenal vs Frankfurt was the first game I'd gotten to go to in like 4 or 5 years... My first live game seeing Emery's team also ended up being his last game in charge 😂
As an arsenal fan I didn’t care that much about the loss to Frankfurt as we were already through and it was a relief to get rid of emery. The worst moments were probably the stale hopelessness in the Freddie’s matches
Stop mentioning the Astana game as some kind of disaster. United literally fielded a bunch of teenagers like Jimmy Garner, Ethan Laird and Jesse Lingard
As a Spurs fan, I felt the 3-0 tonking away at Brighton a few days after the 2-7 Vs Bayern was worse. Poch should have gone before that game. 10 goals in 2 games and he still stayed around for weeks.
Yo Irish guy I see what you're going for with that Newcastle game but United's rock bottom moment was losing 2-0 at home to Burnley after losing 2-0 away to Liverpool. At that time our top goalscorer was injured and nobody saw any hope of us finishing in the top 4. Even Woodward's house was ransacked after that result (although I don't condone that).
Most Utd fans would probably choose the limp 2-0 home loss to Burnley instead when OGS really looked out of his depth. That defeat looks like a blessing though as it meant they had to sign Fernandes
as an arsenal fan the frankfurt game was actually a decent result because it meant the inevitable sacking of emery who was just getting worse and worse. The loss at home against olympiakos tho was absolutely gut wrenching cause arteta really gave us hope in the way we had played and the fact they scored a crucial goal in 114min of extra time at the emirates was just devastating

For me,Liverpool's rock bottom moment was their 2nd leg defeat to athletico in the champions league specially after taking the lead. The defeat to Watford didn't really matter because they were way ahead in the league by then.
Yeah, it was more than a bit of a surprise and headed towards surreal later on but overall just meh. Tossing 3 goals in extra time after getting what should have been the goal to go through was just brutal.
As a wolves fan, this 1-1 draw with burnley was much worse, assuming Chelsea lose to Liverpool today we would’ve been in with a chance at champions league football guaranteed with a win on the final day vs Chelsea but we conceded in the 96th minute. Gut wrenching
cfchxris agreed, United look very strong since the restart and inter look devastating, my hope is United drop unexpectedly given their inconsistency and inter get surprised given they don’t know we have a bit of a track record against bigger clubs who like to attack us.
Liverpool's Rock Bottom Moment was by FAR the 3:2 defeat to Atletico Madrid at Anfield, and getting knocked out from the Champions League. The moment Adrian made that horrible mistake, THAT was Liverpool's rock bottom moment this season.

I would probably say after lockdown is Liverpool’s they drew to Everton and Burnley, and lost to city and arsenal, plus they have still got Chelsea who have already beat them this season
The 0-9 defeat to Leicester could be seen as their lowest point but in fact I believe it was the turning point of the season, so was probably ultimately, a good thing. The lowest point for me was Saints opening few games.
As a Spurs fan - the 0-3 loss to Brighton a couple days after the Bayern massacre was honestly worse....Bayern were ridiculously effective and brilliant in that game; Spurs were actually decent attacking-wise. The game against Brighton was utter shit on all accounts from Spurs. The 0-0 against Bournemouth was a disgrace to the sport as well.
5:41 It was the _Emptihad_ reverse. Not doing more with 53% possession and missing sitters to come away with 0 goals was painful to watch. I even put the _Emirates_ reverse ahead of the debacle at _Vicarage Road._ We deserved the loss to _Watford_ as we didn't turn up. Because the entirety of the match was completely out of character, I consider the aforementioned losses worse.
Liverpool's loss against Watford ended their invicibles run Liverpool's loss against Arsenal ended their 100 points run Even though those losses won't put a dent to their title win, i'd say it still stings a bit as they've lost their chances to break those two incredible records in one campaign
