Thank you for your very helpful video. I have a 1947 201k treadle with an electric motor added by previous owner. My 201 doesnt have that last thread guide just above the needle however the needle post screw has a little groove that I guide the thread through. Do you happen to know if this was a feature of some 201s ?Every video I've watched has that last thread guide.
Just bought a 201-2 yesterday... can't wait to get it in motion again... its been sitting for v nearly 20 years.

Great question! I have only seen 201's with the thread guide. Does it work well? Hopefully you can sew!
