I took classical piano for 20yrs. I didn't learn theory until I was 18yrs in. Wish I would have known that information earlier. Now I'm into rag and trying to learn jazz. I continue to feel that if my music theory were stronger, I could have an a easier passage into the jazz world. It doesn't help that I was too shy.
French (and French teacher) here: you're pronouncing "gymnopédie" absolutely perfectly! That actually sounded you spoke French. Authentic. Thanks for the video!
This was so helpful! I've been struggling with memorization, but your tips on creating practice routines from the pieces themselves are brilliant. Can't wait to try this approach!😀
You are only teacher I have liked comprehend well with I don't have favorite yet I like alot of I would have to say you and people you work with My favorite so far..
How I wish I have my own piano or keyboard to use for practice, I really love to know how to play piano and can play to our church, I'm from philippines wishing to have my own piano/keyboard.
Just a comment about vegetable I didn't like dill pickles or avocado unless it was in guacamole at all and when I turned 60 all of a sudden they are great! I am glad I found the replay, I saw it on facebook but it was a couple of hours late. I may have gotten email but don't remember about it being a live program.
I think everyone loves classical music, because it is memorable, fantastic, that after so many years it endures over time, a music to learn more and more and never stop learning, thank you for teaching classical music
Sad I missed this live. But Lisa, I’m a lifetime member and never got an email telling me how to enter. I’m not upset or angry; but wanted you to know. Much love Rooo
Excuse me I am 10 years old I am using my mom's I pad I have your pianote app and I would like the piano but if it does not work like that then say my name in the next video which is Kilo

I love this lady and her channel. Would be great if she could do a video about how she started her journey and built her business.
Jared Falk built the business. See Drumeo.

Yea, but, how do I compose classical music in the 1800s
You have to study quite a few things.
1. Partimento.
2. Counterpoint (Two voice).
3. Galant schemata.
4. Diminutions.
These are what you would need.
@@pjbpiano You forgot make a time machine, but good list.
