Absolutely incredible! 95% of the videos on UA-cam make me wonder what the hell is wrong with people. I watch these videos for reasons like this. Jeff's a good guy with good stories and pretty decent taste. I don't think UA-cam has made him rich yet so it's nice to see people take care of the people that entertain, inform and sometimes get us through the day. Thanks Jeff and thanks Mike!

Ben clark if you make videos of yourself with a bunch of other knives showing you clearly don't need more then eventually more knives will find their way to you. I'm not even being completely sarcastic there seems to be something to that. Collectors with good connections have more things and more opportunities to get lucky.

If I was ever going to send a knife to a UA-cam it would be Jeff since I know he genuinely appreciates it and he’s one of the first knife channels I stumbled across when I got into the hobby so he has given me lots of good info.

Personally that style of Gerber multi-tool is my favorite style. They became my favorite because of fishing (I used to fish a lot more than I have, lately.) I pretty much bank/pier fish and like that style of multi-tool - both in general and specifically for fishing - because you can deploy the pliers one-handed. When a little extra help is needed to remove a hook from a fish's mouth without hurting it any more than necessary (I try to avoid unnecessarily hurting even the ones I keep to eat) that allows you to hold onto the fish with one hand so it isn't flopping around on the ground, etc. while deploying the pliers with the other. Just hold the tool with the pliers pointing up, squeeze the buttons with the thumb and middle finger then give a quick, sharp jerk downward. I have seen other folks with very well broken in versions just sort of 'flick' the pliers out by holding the tool near the bottom and giving a sharp flick of the wrist.
You are a lucky guy getting this in the mail. I have that Gerber multi tool and love it. I use it with my archery gear.
A little tip about the Gerber, they make them to be one handed. Try pointing the tool end out and flicking your wrist. The pliers will pop out without having to touch the buttons.

I got a package (and I don't know how they got my address) and in it was a Canon T5i with 2 new batteries and charger plus a 55mm to 250mm Canon lense with on board stabilization. There is other "quality" knives than US made . Germany Japan and Sweden amongst other makes high class high quality knives on par and better (and often cheaper) knives than your "supreme US made" over priced knives.
Youre biased and I cant even count how many times Ive heard YT reviews by Americans excusing way too expensive knives considering what you get with "its American". Patriotism makes people blind.

Great video but I like it better when you inbox each knife as it comes out of the box. It gives so much more information on each knife Plus the excitement each knife gives Jeff makes it worth the extra time.
You know on the Gerber multi-tool you do not have to press the buttons to deploy? You can lay it flat in your hand flick your wrist and it will slide up. You must press the buttons to retract the jaws. I've carried a similar version for almost 25 years. I love the acessabillity.b new sliding feature is very beneficial.
