I just picked up a 42 from Arizona Custom Knives....it’s Kosher for real....and a beautiful knife...I’ve had the 62 for years and I did eventually get used to the weight, but it’s the tolerances on the 6X series that make those Knives so amazing...they’re so smooth and have no slop...I’ve heard many 42/4X series owners change out the washers to eliminate play and blade rub.... Much like Spyderco’s stunning SzaboFly, the 42 just suffers from that lack of precision in the blade/handle spacing.... This is something that Microtech got damn near perfect in their FIRST generation Tachyon in 2002...and again in 2012/13 with the Tachyon 2... I paid through the nose (happily) for a Cold Steel ArcAngel about a year ago, and it might be the best “out of the box” production balisong I’ve ever handled...it’s a channel construction model, but the ArcAngel was machined as opposed to cast, like the 42...the blade just taps a little on the AA, where in the case of the 42, if I flipped it A LOT in its current state, the blade would have heavy rub marks and scratches...which I don’t want to happen to this pristine example......so I’m going washer shopping🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Dude, how to you rate the tachyon as a flipper? I have one on the way - I'm a collector and love Microtech's products and it will be my first live Bali. I have a few cheap trainers to flip and likely won't flip my T3 much to prevent ware (and bugged fingers because my other MT's a freaky sharp). Cheers.
The same people who claim the Squiddy at 2.5 oz is a good flipper are the same people who will claim the 51 at 3.3 Oz is a bad flipper way too light the logic there doesn't make sense

Balisongs are legal to own in California the part that’s illegal is carrying one with more than a 2 inch blade on you in public so as long as you keep them at home your good
The balisong in 12:52 is a Jaguar’clone, here in EU it’s herbertz and he’s heavy yes but it’s the best ccc balisong for learn in beginning.. I learned more 150 tricks with him and it’s a good bali before 6X Benchmade or another heavy balisong
