Thank you for your time and effort in producing this video. I am about to dip my feet in the audiophile world and, as you stated, these seem a good entry level starter. So, based on your recommendation, I literally paused the video and ordered a set, and came back to finish the video!
How are you finding them?
Just received mine today, and yes, they are still 75.00. I was concerned about the sibilant issue. Then I thought about it, I'm retired after 23 years in the Army and have some hearing loss in that same range due to weapons, generators, etc. I barely notice it so far. Guess my ears already have been EQ'ed for this set! LOL! This is my second set of Hifimann headphones, the other is the Drop HE 4XX. Have others as well, all under 200.00 range and right no don't have any reason to save up and go to the mid level sets.
How would you compare these to the HE-4XX? I have the 4XX and the SHP9500.

update: i just recieved mine yesterday so far enjoying them for gaming and i do not notice the sibilant issue people are hearing lol

hello i bought he35x i bought behringer um2 to hear better sound from this earphone do you think this is a bad decision do you have an amp or dac suggestion for me not very high priced
I've never trid the Behringer, so I can't really say, but they work well with the Schiit Modi3 DAC and Magni 3 headphone amp.
How are these for gaming?
I'm not really a gamer, and the games I do play are mostly driving simulators (not shooters), so I can't say for sure. They have good soundstage and clarity, so I'm guessing they would be pretty decent.
this headphone is better than a hyperx cloud core?
Not sure, I haven't tried the cloud core. I think the hyperx is more geared towards gaming, though, and this one towards music.

Do you think it makes sense to use eq? It seems to me that it suppresses the vocal sounds a little, but I am not so sure because I do not have much experience
I haven't used the eq setting with it, so I can't say for sure. Might be interesting to experiment with.
