Old Souvenirs are highly underrated, they are like a piece of museum, I hope Valve implement something in the future where u could showcase your items, a virtual gallery that people could visit with some kind of revenue for Valve and the player that own the gallery. I had this idea for a long time.. it will be difficult to see it implemented tho..

16:52 I think there are 2 reasons why the gift packages lost their value. 1. in 2015 the price was very high since they were not in the shops but in the end of 2015 they got restocked and people bought them. 2. another reason everyone was buying them was because the casino sites could promote their website in game via the drop function since it would show within the match who gifted the gift package but Valve deleted the message in game so the item became useless.
i remember seeing the #2 best float karambit doppler on a gambling bot. it was a garbage corner lookalike p3 ugly brown green stattrak but still. someone put such a collectible skin to fuel their gambling addiction for the steam market price of that skin. needless to say i bought it up instantly. made like 500$ at the time many years ago
