    I love Tig Notaro's style of comedy. She starts out with a story, tells a side story, and you kind of expect to know the direction of her joke and punchline, but half way through her story- you totally become lost and ask yourself "what the hell happened?" Its funny as hell and some people get annoyed because it kind of meanders from topic to topic.

      vantha doun She doesn’t just hand every joke to the viewer like so many others do these days. I love this kind of humor. It seems so much more genuine.

      I agree, read the first 3 words I wrote, "I love Tig" been a long time fan of hers and her delivery is smooth as Vanilla Mocha frappacino.

    • @AnastasiaR
      @AnastasiaR 7 років тому +16

      Kody Estep I completely agree. I wish we had more of that in the US. This kind of understated humor is 10x funnier than the lowest-common-denominator comedy we sometimes resort to (my opinion of course!) Stephen Colbert is down for that vibe whenever and I love it.

I thought it was fair, but craig, no..cause that guy flopped so bad at comedy, he was literally the worst of the worst late night host... thats why he didnt do it long and now does a low budget game show, also watched by less than 50 people in reality

      +Nancy Mesek Hi Nancy! This is an independent TV show, not connected to any network. Like Netflix and Hulu, Amazon has created their own television shows & series.
      So any country that Amazon is available for its residents, you can watch the shows. You do need to have the Prime level of Amazon membership. There are also movies they offer to customers as one of the perks.

      And FYI for the people spreading false information in the comments section. She didn't accuse Louie CK of sexually harassing her. There were multiple female comedians saying a popular comic was masturbating in front of them. Rosanne finally named the person as Louie CK, and Louie gave a strange, vague answer...never dispelling the rumor. When asked about it, Tig said he should take care of the situation and explain himself. That's all that's been said on Tig's part. She's not one of the female comedians in question.

      Interesting how she only cared after is was massively public. This has been known for quite a long time, but she didn't seem to care when he was advancing her career. Seeing as though I'm a random nobody from the middle of nowhere and I knew about this years ago, I find it incredibly hard to believe that Tig also did not know about it working with him. What he did is incredibly wrong, but it's just as wrong to ride his coattails until it's not publicly okay to do so and then act like you were never okay with it.

      @Marten Dekker If by minor you mean the legality, then sure. If you mean creepy, disgusting, inappropriate, and an abuse of a power dynamic, then I would beg to differ. It's especially bad since his standup act is so much about creepy men and their need to jerk off - it worked fine as long as people weren't aware that pretty close to reality in his case.

    Jesus said "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)
    I always wonder why there are no bigots running around trying to convert rich people to give away their money, since Jesus himself said that rich people go to hell. ^^

    • @spectaclereplication
      @spectaclereplication 7 років тому +1

      You forget that underlying the principles of evangelism, or its current incarnation, is a deep hatred for humanity, a.k.a. misanthropy. These "bigots" want to see groups of people dead or denied. Whereas the "liberal" is against that unique person - someone who has demonstrated anti-social behaviors- a trump for example, the right winger (the braggart) hates many - and this is inherently dishonest and corrupt for obvious reasons in life. This is the difference so often overlooked. One wonders why.

      Estryus Flemming: yeah I heard of the gateways. Too bad that this is debunked by now since those gateways didn't exist at that time. They came long after Jesus. You have to find another way to spin it.

      IXCat ... Damn, you just made me realize it and it broke my heart. For the record, I believe Stephen did talk about how awkward it is to greet a celebrity when they come in because one never knows how they will do it.
      Still, it broke my heart. Not to mention that I was a very shy entrance, I must say.

    We really do need to make the world Gay again. Not only because we need to become tolerant and respectful of others, but we also need to be happy again, to laugh and enjoy life. So sick and tired of so much hate, anger and pushing of people's. beliefs and ideas. We all need to just let people be people and be joyful again.

      Human Friendly Languages One thing that is always interesting to me is like the people in the clip, who are... misguided. Some of them really feel like they're helping, or they are trying to help. They have a conviction and are acting on it, which is admirable. It's just a crying shame that it's is so misguided and is causing all the stress and harm that it does. But I suppose, in their view, it's worth it. Anyway, I see you've got a channel going! Good luck with that! I'm going to be posting a video in about a week at Chronically Curious. I'm chronically ill and a lifelong learner and I'm kind of tired of seeing what people say about people with invisible illness and not saying anything. I'm not sure anyone is ever going to watch them, but I feel like it's better than staying silent. So I'm trying to sort of be more aware, when on UA-cam, of people who are working on their content. I hope everything goes well for you.

      They are not given a choice. And immigrating to another country is not that easy.
      I have known of people who police have banged down their door because they were "suspected gay" - This particular individual had to run into the mountains and luckily was granted asylum in The Netherlands, but many of her friends were disappeared".
      I have also seen people fired from their job in other countries for "suspected gay".
      The world is incredibly cruel and there are millions of individuals that are in serious danger.
      And I really hope you haven't been decapitated (cause this conversation would need a ouija board hehehe). Take a moment to read the news regarding gays in countries like Russia, Egypt or India... or ask what ISIS does to "suspected gays".
