Andrew I just want to express my gratitude to you. There was a point where I got depressed and experienced complete demoralization with myself. I couldn’t bear to listen to any kind of music (when it used to bring me a lot of joy) for a whole month because it made me even sadder for some reason. So instead I substituted with your podcasts. I listened to you every single day and night, the amount of knowledge and tools that I have gained and from what you shared are so incredible. It really did help me get through my days. I love your psychology podcasts especially. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you! (I hope you’ll read this)
This is such a valuable resource! Managing stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming, but the way Dr. Huberman breaks it down into actionable tools makes it so much more approachable
Also, my first language is not English, but you have no idea how much I have improved my English by listening to Andrew Huberman Podcast. And in addition, I get a lot of knowledge! So, keep going 👏!
As a therapist, I have incorporated the "physiological sigh" into my practice and much of the information from Huberman Labs into psychoeducation. Thank you so much for your work.
Thank you very much for what you're doing. Last year I slept very badly and then I watched your episode about sleep, and now I go to bed and wake up at the same time almost every day.

I’ve been doing Wil Hof breathing for 2 years straight and it has genuinely changed my life. I am 21 years old and this tool primed my system daily to preform way better in a full time union laborer job, weightlifting and my cardio activities. This is a must try for low motivated individuals to give you a huge daily burst. Please just try it!
Best start to my morning to listen to important tips from a selfless scientist! Thank you for your love for health and awareness and for sharing it with us! I like that now there are shorter clips like this packed with information 🎉
Absolutely life changing contents. I am shortsighted and have always wonder why when removing the glasses I always feel calmer. Now I have realized its because without glasses, everything is blurry and its harder to have a focus point (my field of vision is widened). This also explains why using screen especially small screen is stressful because the content is tiny and you always have to focus your vision.
Thank you for your effort to teach people manage stress, it's incredibly important! And separately, thank you for your legible English. You speak about breath technics, that's great. I learned that and the same techniques by my yoga teacher as pranayama. Also I learned "Ujai breathing", singing of "Aum", and for example "vacuum" exercises with belly. Now, after understanding how parasympathetic works, I think all these exercises are targeting on make parasympathetic system stronger. Surgeons use Vacuum-system to enforce regeneration of big chronic wounds, the same principles are here: vacuum make vasa vasorum more powerful and nervou's functioning better. I think yoga is great, and neuroscience as well ✌️
¡Hola Profe!Feeling stressed, being stressed, being able to use it to our advantage and being able to manage it equals thriving in life, not just surviving.Thank You for helping us to do that with knowledge You bring us.Thank You for all Your hard work and care for all of us.
Ooh love a tad of stress now and again, it keeps you alert, but it can go just that step too far. Cheers Prof as you are known by many, thanks for sharing bub.
This is a beautiful and sleek summary of tools that bring great changes to how one feels in the heat of a moment. From the perspective of a mental health practitioner, I thank you for talking about the benefits of acute stress on our immune system and a more resilient body and mind. I live in the Netherlands, the home of the Ice Man - Wim Hoff, and it’s wonderful to see that his methods are considered scientific. I also want to add that yoga is great for those who want to master their minds. Yoga allows us to exercise the balance and strength of the body in union with a calm mind by capitalizing on the power of breathing.
It is an exaggeration to say that Wim Hof's methods are considered scientific; Andrew only mentioned a breathing technique. As for Wim's resilience to cold, the fact that his twin brother has similar resilience and doesn't employ the method Wim is selling through classes shows that Wim's resilience is largely or exclusively genetic.
Thank you for the valuable info! I’m gonna use this info to help me control my stress response to hearing my coworkers deep exasperated sigh throughout the day. Now I’ll be more empathetic
… This is a very helpful advice about how to manage stress through breathing techniques. Now I know better. I didn’t know…Thank you Dr. Andrew H. The double inhalation and exhale to bring levels of stress down is a great technique. Now I have breathing exercises to relieve stress. No more shallow breathing. Thank you.
I always hear when people in distressed situation, they are asked to" calm down, breath "! Now I know WHY ! Another great vedio! Thank you! Now I am taking my dog for a 20 minutes walk, enjoying the sun light and start my day! 🤣

Amazing! Thank you for elaborating more on the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves. I was implementing this strategy especially when Im stressed/anxious and it does work. Sometimes we forget to breathe and stop for a second when in a stressful situation. Again, thank you for educating us. 💕

And, for chronic stress, while attempting to fall asleep but unable, or waking up too soon, focus on the exhale. Essentially meditate. This is better than worrying, even if one gets no sleep all night long. And during the day one can micromeditate. Focus on an exhale. Count one. And let go of whatever the brain is thinking. And get some walking in outdoors. For at least two hours.
