    I hope I see the day when most people regard this life as not only about the human experience with it. Life manifests in other forms. We will be truthful with who we are when we acknowledge the other forms.
    You don't have to be selfish to be selfless. You just have you be self.

    "From a place of infinite love,
    pain is a beautiful thing".
    Thank you for explaining so well why that is.

    I just found you. Pulled something in my neck affecting my shoulder 5 months ago, hurt my ring finger 11 months ago it now is a trigger finger…plus other aches…66years worth. I’ve binged 3 videos in a row now and the information you are sharing is incredibly valuable. Thank you for sharing.❤

    I watched 'Death begins in the feet'. I was greatly encouraged by it. I've forwarded 'Fascia & Pain, hoping it is relevant to that person (we'll see, people can be negative), but I feel TFMP is bringing strong healing and hope. Quite a find for me, thanks!

    I carry everything on my left side.
    I have right shoulder issues for 26 yrs. Started gua sha and I have learned so much about the body and blocked flow. I did my feet and I have a pinky toe that doesn’t touch the floor my feet are outward and my knees knock if I put my feet together. I’m a upper breather. All these things I questioned about my alignment.
    Thank you!! So informative

    It’s so nice to hear people talking this way. Your work sharing the ‘truth’ gives me confidence for the world. Spent many years studying ancient healing - now I just ask my body do what you got to do including movement and I let it. & Tell me what I’ve got to stop doing.

    As I listen to this podcast, I m blown away with the intentional messages that cover everything ; mind, body , soul ; pain and breathe . Intentional . facia . Amazing . Almost 64 years & I never learned any of this with my body
    Chronic pain from crushed L5 S1 from slipping on black ice in 2012- then a slippery road since .. because I was a “ beginning” yoga student at that time in 2012 I literally mediated and stretched on yoga Matt for 7 months between standing at work to heal
    They wanted to do spine surgery then … but in 2021 reinjured? Or ?
    Drop foot right leg - sciatica ,more damage on spine & discs - but still trying to keep going - thank you so much for starting this podcast so we can learn about our bodies ! How they work - no one teaches this - conventional doctors just treat pain with pills. Western culture to keep pushing ourselves !! Until we keep abusing ourselves - been down that road also !!
    My Daily mantra 🕉💜🙏 I am making CHOICES every moment for my health & well BEing -
    Mind , Body & Soul .. Merry Christmas with much Blessings for Joy Love & Peaceful self FEELINGS - now & into 2024

    Thanks for this. It makes sense. I always thought those ultra runners who do multi-day/week challenges were super human but maybe because they choose to keep moving forward they are healing as they go.

    Yup, great talk. As I was listening lying down on the biomat, I stuck a block under my scapula and relaxed over it and slept deeply for about 30 minutes. So now I have to go back but, is it normal when in the first month of block practice to feel super tired and yet not be able to stay off of them, 😊?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Рік тому +1

      Hi Nancy! Yes this is normal. Since we are opening up cells that were previously blocked from blood flow, those cells take that energy. Your body needs to build more blood to feed the system which takes energy. This will change with practice and once your breath becomes stronger.

    There's an interesting film, from Hong Kong, with the action star, Jet Li, called 'The Black Mask' about a Special Forces Unit who have their pain sensors switched off. The film is about one of the Unit and his quest for his need to switch them back on. Great show once again, even though I'm only half way through just yet.

    Diaphram breathing is using only 1 muscle to breath.... This is not as intended. We are designed to use our intercostals as well. Without the mobilization of these muscles and their surrounding tissue/fascia... one will lose breath capacity.

    • @complexyou
      @complexyou Рік тому

      yes, intercostal for sure and also chest, so 3 phase breathing

      You are correct. We teach bringing the breath into the ribcage and expanding the ribs while doing block therapy.
