Chat, it's been a few months now since she introduced me to this song.. she listened to it with me, and she would teach me what a relationship should be: open, unconditional love, no matter how horrible I or my mind was. She said she had infinite patience, *if it was for me*. She wouldn't even look at other boys in the special way she did me. As a young adult, I'd never sung for anyone before, but she convinced me. Late night calls in the hallway, where she'd give me songs, such as this very one, and I'd shyly sing them to her. There's no one sweet as her, I could place my whole heart on her and she'd love me. I'd listen to this song in the shower, and cry, not terrible sad tears, but tears of warmth, being able to know what love feels like. it's only been even less months since things were last like that, and since then I've lost my mind and self, forever. Thank you, smb, for making this, and at such a time. I may try to learn it one day, if I ever find it in me to play music again. < 3 3
