I have a rustler and I gotta say one of the most mod available and just all blast to have, I have a rustler brushless with an upgraded transmission and a whole body worth of upgrades and man this thing is a BEAST 70+ mph and I’m smoking other cars like it’s nothing. Great job traxxas recommend a wheelie bar your gonna need it!

Lol I'm a 53 yr old rc geek, when I run my Rustler or Stampede both of which or VXL cars I feel young again!!! I've got my Stampede up to 73 mph, what a rush!!! You kids keep it up!!! You'll never regret it for the rest of your life!!!!

I tryed backflips with my E Revo brushed but it crashed every time.

KaYoTiiC CAiiN KaYoTiiC KRiiT the erevo is really good but I would start with the bandit but also traxxas ' survos are not the best so be careful with that. also brushless will last longer and is better

Honestly the only bad thing about he Rustler is when you’re pulling a fatass wheelie and the motor cover thing scrapes on the ground
Tip: Buy a wheelie bar and you’ll be fine. I did, life’s better now.

Do these cars come with a battery?
I put monster truck wheels and a Ford raptor body on my rustler, now it's just an extremely fast stampede.
(im still a kid ok?) this is wierd i was finding an rc car when i stumbled across the bandit and then the rustler i weent to the traxxas website and found out that the bandit is more expensive than rustler, weird.

this is legit! i have a rustler vxl and lost control at 68mph on 3s and hit a curb. thats with factory gearing too. i have since turned it into a 2wd slash. the longer wheelbase helps with the wheelies.

I got the brushed Bandit and even that version is fast. But this VXL version seems nuts! Might get one of these or the brushless slash 🤔 not sure though.

Rusty VXL, gets 82MPH running the stock Slash SCT Tires! You will need to flip the front bumper and remove the rear spoiler!! LiPo needs to be a 3S 5'000-MAH 25C.
It's like driving a twin turbo corvette down hill on black-ice, but it's totally awesome seeing it go by at 82MPH running a stock Velineon VXL system!!!
If you add a little lighter set of tires, I'm pretty sure that it capable of a few more mph!!!
I really want to tell the world what gearing to run for the 82MPH top speed, I just don't want anyone burning down the system in their Rusty. Because it's a two pass maximum number of runs, on this tall of gearing!!!
Duc Huy Luong, it get hot pretty fast, so I make one pass down and if the first pass felt good. Then I make a pass on the way back. I have never used a thermometer to see how hot it's actually getting. I only used my finger to test, and we're talking no more than around 3 seconds on just the first pass! Pass #2 is only a one second touch on the motor. But I never get thermal shutdown!
