And the question is also it’s getting saved more than sincerely asking Jesus Christ into your heart knowing you can’t do anything else to be righteous. Many advocates of not believing in salvation by grace alone believes it comes with terms and conditions and if you backslide, you’re lost again. But they don’t know where to draw the line as to what constitutes being lost again, like how many sins you have to commit or how long you have to live in sin in order to be lost again

He was playing semantics. If you are truly following Christ and not intentionally living in sin then you cannot “lose” salvation.
The real issue isn’t about whether you can arbitrarily accidentally “lose” salvation. It’s about our actual relationship with God or lack there of. The Bible makes it clear that someone who follows Christ can turn away at anytime by their own choosing. In that case they didn’t “lose” salvation, they forfeited it.

How does one reconcile once saved always saved with the parable of the sower? There are people who receive the word and believe it but fall away when difficulty come. There are people whose faith is choked by their love of the world which can be money, loved ones, careers, i.e. loving anything more than Christ (a lot of believers fit in that category).
It is only the crop that produces fruit that will be spared.
    Matthew 13 vs 18-23
18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

John 6:70 "Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” Judas was never saved. Jesus knew his heart from the beginning. Only God can tell if someone's confession is real, for it is only God who gives man a new heart and new will. We only see outward confessions and works, so we cannot be accurate judges, only God can. When Jesus said that one of the 12 would betray Him, not one of the disciples suspected Judas, they all wondered if it was themselves. That just shows how well Judas blended in outwardly. Yet Jesus knew his heart.
1 John 2:19 "They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us."
Luke 22:19 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail." And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” Jesus knew Peter would betray Him, yet He prayed for him, interceded on his behalf so that he may not fall away from faith. And so even today, Christ is interceding for us as we know, at the right hand of God. We have been purchased by His blood. We are born again. We are a new creation, with a new heart and a new will.
John 10:28 -30 "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand."
We can be deceived about our own salvation, for our hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked. We can have faulty judgements on other's salvation, but not God. The Lord knows His own. And He keeps them. Once saved, always saved, is better described when being said, truly saved, always saved.

Those who deny that salvation can ever be lost, reason on the subject in a contrary way.
They tell us, that no virgin’s lamp can go out; (Matt.25:8-12) no promising harvest be choked with thorns;(Mark 4:3-9)
    no branch in Christ can ever be cut off from unfruitfulness; (John 15:5-6) no pardon can be forfeited(1Cor.9:27) (Isaiah 63:8-10)(Matt.18:21-35);
and no name blotted out of God's book (Rev. 3-5). They maintain that no salt can lose its savor (Luke14:34-35);nobody can ever receive the grace of God in vain (1 Cor.15:1-2)(2 Cor.6:1-2); bury his talents (Matt.25:14-30)
    neglect such great salvation'(Heb.2:3-4)
    Using grace as a license to sin'(Jude 4);
Jesus stresses total commitment: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).
    Nobody can ‘grieve the Spirit’ till He is ‘quenched,(Eph.4:30)(1 Thess 5:19);
    and strives no more,(Heb.12:14).
nor ‘deny the Lord that bought them’; nor ‘bring upon themselves swift destruction.’
    (2 Peter2:1-4).
    No believers
that once knew God but did not retain God in their knowledge by going back to a life of continuous unrepentant sin somehow think
that God wouldn't give them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
    (Romans 1:21-32).
They reason that how you live is irrelevant to eternal destiny since Jesus did it all
there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie
    (Revelation 21:27)
Nobody, or body of believers, can ever get so lukewarm that Jesus will spew them out of His mouth.
    (Rev 3:15-19).

Believers are a new creation in Christ Jesus, when born again the Holy Spirit lives in our heart convicts us of sin.

He list multiple sins that will keep you from receiving the Kingdom of God. Chuck Smith gives a great sermon on this. If what Chuck Smith, as well as many other pastors, says is true, you best know the truth about your assurance of salvation.

Jesus isnt found in a church, hes not found in a bible either as most think but he is the living son of God whom God sat at his right hand giving him all authority in heaven and Earth.
People hold the bible as if its what saves a person and its become an idol almost, but scripture is only a guide that points us all to Jesus, not back at itself.
We are to go to Jesus, like you said, not spend our lives studying scripture trying to be some bible scholar and be able to wow people with bible knowledge, nor spend our time being taught mens doctrines "about Jesus" at a church.
We go to Jesus himself and listen to HIS words and obey him only. HE is the living word of God, not a book and definitely not a church.
"Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord......" you know the rest and its all these pastors and church dwellers that will be saying this on that day.

God so loved the world as to give His Only Begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him may not perish; but may have life everlasting (John 3:16). Our Lord prayed during the Last Supper for the future generations, who "through their word, shall believe in Me (John 17:20)." Our Lord also said, "Unless you eat My Flesh and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you (John 6:53)" and "he that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has everlasting life (John 6:55)." Yes, God loves all human beings, created in His Image and Likeness, and wishes that all come to the knowledge of Truth and be saved (1 Tim 2:4). To save them, Word of God was incarnated, sacrificed Himself for our redemption, and instituted His Church (Matt 16:18) with which He remains always, until the end of ages (Matt 28:20). But not all will be saved because of wrong choice made, misusing the free will God has given everyone by rejecting the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, which He Heads and Saves (Eph 5:23), and following other teachings and one's own desires and ways. "You search scriptures, but you do not want to come to Me that you may have Life (John 5:39-40)." God does not force the eternal salvation on men, but leaves each man free to choose its own eternal destiny. Why would anyone want to remain outside of His Church and, thus, risk one's eternal life? Therefore, choose wisely, brothers and sisters, so that you may be counted among the Redeemed! Time is urgent!

When you walk out of that zone, you will go astray and you will have a hard time finding your way back. “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: *if we deny him, he also will deny us:”* (2 Timothy 2:12) There is no complete salvation given to any believers in this present time. And that is God’s sovereignty against men’s responsibility.

That's not true at all! Pastors shouldn't spread that false narrative that one can "lose " their salvation. Think about it for a minute...if one could actually lose their salvation., then no one in this world could ever have assurance, since all I have to do is sin, and presto, I'm not saved, and have to be saved all over again. That makes no sense and won't hold up to good sound biblical teaching. Think of the Bible as a law book, (and it is)if my sins were paid for, I can't be held as guilty anymore, as Jesus paid not just for my past and present sins, but future as well. For me to be declared guilty before God, would be "double jeopardy." That would be unrighteous. The true believer also knows salvation is not a license to sin "all I want." Rather now my whole relationship to sin is completely different than it was before conversion. I HATE IT! Although. I still have the capability to sin. Salvation means slowly gaining victory over sins even though we'll never be perfect on this present world. People that claim to have lost their salvation were never saved from the beginning.

@@victorcroker2765 that is a good explanation of a worldly christian view!!! And I can see that you have a worldly spirit And I'll let the scripture's explain why. Get your Bible and read Matthew 7:21-24
Verse 21 notice JESUS not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom, that's making a proclamation of knowing JESUS CHRIST as GOD'S son and our savior! Shall enter into the kingdom! But only them that do GOD'S WILL. You see many false teachers openly call JESUS a liar by calling this a works gospel! Verse 22 notice many in that day, many means a multitude, great number, in that day=judgement day!!! Also notice these Christians were endowed with GOD'S holy spirit to prophecy, to cast out devil's and to do many miracle's! And many false teachers blaspheme against the holy spirit by saying that these Christians were never saved!!! GOD does not give his HOLY SPIRIT to the lost! You will find that in Matthew 12:22-37! Verse 23 in this verse JESUS says I never knew you= that means I never approved of you (approved of their behavior) !!! Verse 24 again notice JESUS says hearing his words and doeth them!!! He calls those christians wise!!! They built their house on the rock which is JESUS CHRIST!!! So we see hear that christians that hear the word only and don't obey them! And don't have a strong foundation in JESUS CHRIST. Will not inherit the kingdom. Please read 2-thessalonians 2-10. In Matthew chapter 25 JESUS CHRIST dedicates this whole chapter and warns against the loss of our salvation!!! Verses 1-13 the foolish not preparing for the kingdom, quenching of the HOLY SPIRIT by not obaying him!!! Verse 14-30 being a lazy servant, christian. Verse 31-46 not having love and compassion for others!!! And don't forget the sin of Apostasy Hebrews 6:4-8!!! So these are just a few of the verses where JESUS CHRIST and the Apostle's warn us christians on how to lose our salvation!!! I encourage you to read and study your Bible and not just be a hearer of the word only!!!! It is GOD'S requirement for us to learn the word of GOD so we as christians will know who the false prophets, teachers are!!! We do not want to follow them to hell!!!

People don't lose their salvation because they do something bad or sin. Rather, they lose their salvation because their beliefs change and they stop believing in Jesus. I've seen it happen. Very eager young man. Watched him lead worship and go on walks praying during retreats. No way you can convince it was fake or he was never really saved. Then he went to college and started hanging with sinful "christians", the kind Paul said don't even eat with. He started drinking. Then he started smoking pot. Then he started believing in universalism. Then he became an aetheist. His beliefs slowly died. I know he believed at one time because his actions showed it. Now he doesn't. Read the parable of the seeds. Some seeds germinated meaning they accepted the gospel but they later perished for various reasons. Jesus said anyone who takes up the plow and looks back is not worthy. It is possible for beliefs to change, even a Christian's.

Yes and that the bible mentioned about the falling away and warns us of deceivers in the last days. Who else could be falling away and from what? Non-Christians aren't falling as they have already fallen. Therefore the falling away are specifically in reference to Christians falling from their faith and succumbing to deceiving spirits. I was one of these but the Lord recalled me earlier this year. Maybe He could use me for promoting His glory? I've never read the bible with this much interest ever. Salvation is for everyone but it is up to them to accept it. Those who accept will be saved. You lose it when you CHOOSE to pursue other interests contradictory to Scripture. You lose it when you chose to pursue wealth, power, fame, control, lust.... as these become your gods and you can't serve 2 masters.

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. A lot of his preaching is accurate. The one thing that I take exception to is that when he preaches to his congregation, it's always assumed that all the members of his church are "saved" since they're all "confessing members". All that does is lead members into a false sense of security. Big, big mistake as no matter where you go, it's always a "remnant" that are actually saved. As for the commentary at the top, it is true that many, many so called preachers choose to go center stage with their heresy, and are "false" indeed, however don't mistake intelligence and education for confirmation that somehow these preachers are legitimate. In a world enamored with education, it's assuring to know education never saved anyone...Period! I can remember Billy Graham holding the title of "America's Go To Preacher." Truth comes from God's Holy Spirit, and not our intelligent minds. Just like salvation, God gives truth to who he wants , when he wants, if he wants.

If you're referring to his use of "we" and "us" during this clip, I do think it might be good to remember that scripture uses similar language in places, like when Paul addresses the churches in his letters. Of course Paul understood that these churches were going to have unbelievers in them, and he certainly made time in his letters to address those things. But he also makes plenty of time to address believers, and even calling them brothers, without always reminding them that his words may not really apply to some of them. I would also disagree with the statement that John MacArthur always assumes his congregation is saved, if that's what you are saying. I don't think that's a fair conclusion to make from a short clip. John MacArthur is certainly not one to shy away from the hard truths, and he has given many sermons of warning against false professions of faith and has even told that very congregation that many of them may not actually be saved. But there are also times when true believers need to hear encouragement and have their faith nourished by reminders of who Christ is and all He has accomplished, and that message doesn't have to be loaded with constant reminders of "but only if..."

I agree how people can't lose their salvation. There's a lot of Bible verses such as 1 John 2:19, 1 John 5:13, and John 10:28 that show how people can't lose their salvation. When someone accepts Christ in their heart and means it in their heart, repents and turns away from being a slave to sin, surrenders their life to Christ, put their trust in Christ, etc, God changes them, and they experience all kinds of changes in their life due to God changing them such as being born again, being a new creation, having a changed heart, not being a slave to sin anymore (they still sin, still have sin weaknesses, still have sin struggles, still make mistakes in life, still aren't perfect, etc but aren't slaves to sin anymore), wanting to live for the Lord, wanting to serve the Lord, always being saved, never walking away and abandoning the faith, never becoming an ex-Christian, persevering in the faith until the end, enduring in the faith until the end, etc. This is how God changes someone when they become saved.

"I NEVER KNEW YOU. Depart from Me, you evil doers" (Matt 7:23). You read scriptures, but understand them in your own human way for your own peril and not in the Spirit and Truth in which one must worship God (John 4:24). To teach all peoples down to the end of times in Spirit and Truth so that they may believe in Me (John 17:20) and thus may have eternal life (John 3:16), I founded My Church (Matt 16:18), the Roman Catholic Church, and sent them to baptize and teach all nations to observe ALL that I have commanded (Matt 28:20). I said, "Whoever listens to you, listens to Me. Whoever rejects you, rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16)." Some of you do not believe (John 6:36) ALL I have spoken and commanded. Whoever rejects Me and does not accept My Words has something to judge him; the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day (John 12:48). You do not believe because you are not among My sheep (John 10:26). My sheep hears My voice and I KNOW THEM and they follow Me (John 10:27).

Our Lord is very grieved and suffers by those who reject His Church and follow separated churches founded by men, not by God-man, who teach heresies and a partial truth, blind leading blind (Matt 15:14). These are branches separated from the Vine by their own free will and will be thrown into a fire (John 15:6) if they do not graft onto the Vine. Even though they proclaim the Name of Our Lord, they are the ones who deserve His words "Depart from Me, you evil doers." Why evil doers? Because they pretend to be sent by God to teach, use the Name of the Lord for their own interests, lure unsuspecting souls using the Gospel and then, mislead and confuse them who, out of ignorance, do not know the True Way, obstruct them from finding the True Church and Faith, and teach heresies and a partial truth as the Truth, endangering souls to perdition. All their work is against Our Lord and helps His enemy, therefore, is evil.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, why risk your eternal salvation by remaining in Error? Time is urgent since we are now living through the great tribulations and the appearance of the Antichrist (2 Thes 2:8) is very near. Like the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32), return quickly to the Father's House, the Catholic Church, Our Lord's Sheepfold, before it is too late and make Heaven rejoice. Our Lord said, "Unless you eat My Flesh and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you (John 6:53). And he that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has everlasting life (John 6:55)." Don't remain as unbelievers to whom Our Lord said, "you search scriptures, but you will not come to Me that you may have life (John 5:39-40)." Our Lord is waiting for you with open arms and loving heart in His Church to save you, giving Himself in His Body and Blood (Luke 22:19-20, Matt 26:26-28)! May God bless you and lead you along His Way!

@@hyeminkwun9523 lol where does it mention "Catholic Church"? Be careful the Lord has this to say about bible editors:
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book" (Revelation 22:18 KJV)
The Catholic Church has an integral part to play in the Great Tribulation. Many bible scholars and researchers have decoded the 2nd beast to be the Papacy as the description fits it to the T. Catholicism is indeed modern day Babylonianism with the New Testament thrown in. Why do Catholics have so many parties to intercede when the Bible specifically stated "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
      (John 14:6 KJV).
The fact that Catholics (who have not confessed their sins to God the Father through Jesus Christ) have a part to play in The Great Tribulation means they are not raptured. Of course there are Catholics on paper and believe the dispensation of Grace who will be saved. Nobody else can forgive sin, not even the high priest for they are mortal and their cleansing is man made law not God's law be careful.
Jesus is the one conducting the rapture therefore if you had other parties to intercede for you, you are indeed disrespecting Him because you don't trust He sacrificed Himself for your sins.

Instead, let love make you serve one another. 14 For the whole Law is summed up in one commandment: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” 15 But if you act like wild animals, hurting and harming each other, then watch out, or you will completely destroy one another 3:51 are those Christians who say but not live the true gospel will they be save then who are those peoplw God is going to judge and throw them in the lake of fire if they are not written in the book of life?

Here’s the thing. You know you are saved by the repentance of sin. The complete 180 from one way of looking at sin to the other. Let’s say I was just saved. As I grow and learn more about the word I become refined in the work god has begun in me. Phill 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Most people who say they are “saved” and don’t have a desire to become holy and Christ like are not truly saved. No one is perfect and it will be an every second walk with God until Christ Jesus comes back. However what most don’t get is once I’ve started on the path I will continue to be refined by God, not that once I’m saved I will be perfect without conviction and repentance. So many try to condemn others by their lack of knowledge of every single scripture of the Bible. It doesn’t matter if you can quote every scripture and hold yourself to be perfect in every way. The truth is we all were once sinners and will be tempted always. We are to hold firm in our belief in Christ Jesus until the end. NOBODY has the right to say one has “lost salvation” because you are not the one who gave it to them in the first place. We are called to love not to be the judge. Only God has that authority.

My Bible totally disagrees! Was Paul not chosen by Jesus himself, and made the apostle to the gentiles? Yet Paul himself told us in 1 Cor 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Paul's keeping his body in subjection, is just part and parcel of his being chosen by God. It's simply the outworking of the Holy Spirit in his life, and not something of his own will that is somehow juxtaposed with his being chosen. Ok? So it's a SUBSET of his being chosen: it is CONTAINED within his being chosen: it is INTERNAL to his being chosen: it is PART AND PARCEL of his being chosen: it is simply righteousness resulting from the indwelling Holy Spirit.

    • @HumbleHeartMinistry
      @HumbleHeartMinistry 2 роки тому

@@lawrence1318 I find it hard to believe your being serious here? You think we have no freewill and are transformed into holy obedient robots once we come to Christ? Look at the scripture and let scripture interpret scripture. 1 Cor. 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: ( Greek meaning= make one’s self into a slave) lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (The word castaway means in the Greek= unapproved, i.e. rejected; by implication, worthless (literally or morally):--castaway, rejected, reprobate.) Paul was talking about walking in the Spirit, and not in the desires of his flesh. And that he must keep his body in subjection ( make himself a slave to the will of the Spirit of God) and not of his fleshly desires. Look at Galatians 5, Paul speaking to the church warns the church about what will happen if they walk in the works of the flesh, and not in the Spirit! He lists a short list of each for an example of the right way, and the wrong way. Stating that if we walk in the works of the flesh, we will not enter Gods Kingdom! Why would he do this if we did not have freewill to choose everyday to be led by the Spirit of God, or choose to walk in our fleshly desires? And why would Jesus tell us we have to carry our cross daily? Why would Paul say, I die daily? Why because he knows that the flesh and the Spirit is contrary to one another, and because we still are in a flesh and blood body, we have a daily battle to overcome the will of the flesh, and submit to the will of God! All born again Christians are being sanctified daily by Gods Spirit, and daily must choose to surrender our will, (the will of the flesh) over to the will of Gods Spirit! God did not, or ever will take our freewill away from us, so we must choose to crucify our flesh daily, and choose to surrender our will, to the will of God!

The passages which urge us to walk according to our calling, are only effective if the Holy Spirit actually takes them up on our behalf: there's no magic in the scripture per se, and no way to follow what scripture says: the Spirit has to do it on our behalf.
So scripture is actually written by God, to God, more specifically, it is the Father's instructions for the Son, for only the Son can do what the Father desires. This is what grace is all about and why we are told: "ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God".
So scriptures which tell us to walk a certain way, are not implying that if we don't we shall lose our salvation: they are only hypothetical in such regard in that the Spirit will fulfil them on behalf of the elect. The Bride has no strength of her own self, but only the Bridegroom.
So your approach is unlearned and naive. Baby theology. You are still on milk.

The scripture is written from God, for us, even as God clearly tells us this in 2Tim.3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. It is total error to think we are not supposed to take heed of the instruction God gave us! Yes The Spirit of God does the work in us, but only if we submit ourselves to his will, and not lean on our own understanding! Your judgement of me means nothing to me! God is my judge, not man! Believing you can lose your salvation is the same as working your way to heaven. Many people that are advocates of it, can never give me a straight answer on what constitutes being lost again. They think if you kill somebody, live in sin, etc. But they can never give you a straight answer where to draw the line as to when you lose it and have to be saved again.
But there are quite a few scriptures that do suggest you have to work your way to heaven. He who endures to the end shall be saved, to he who overcomes I will not blot his name out of the book of life, if we willfully sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice (does knowledge of the truth equal salivation? 🤷🏻‍♂️)the dog returning to its own vomit, etc.

You can't say a prayer, be baptized, then go on to a life of fornication, witchcraft and idol worship and be saved. When do you lose your salvation? When you decide to turn to sin and away from the Holy Spirit no longer believing in His power. It's all in scripture. Read about it.

I replied to another commentary on this video. You are always saved by Jesus no matter what you believe. He died for all. BUT you can fall away, depart from your faith, reject God or prioritise something else in His place and fall from Grace. You see, God gave us freewill and did not force belief upon us unlike Satan who will force worship or face dire consequences if you choose to leave his society.
If you pursue wealth, wealth becomes your god and you can't serve 2 masters but 1. You have fallen away and therefore lost your salvation by your choice. You will certainly sin more as you chase wealth like cheat people, steal, etc. That's why there are so many false prophets like prosperity preachers, the Word of Faith movement is expanding daily worldwide, for they teach pro-self, wealth, and that everyone is made in God's image (not image of God as it should be, they like to twist scripture to tempt the unsuspecting and ignorant who don't check their bibles) so that they're pure and have the right to sin. False prophets come in so many forms to sway once-Christians from the Truth so that they will not be saved.
Think about it. The fewer raptured means more undergoing The Great Tribulation, chance to worship Antichrist when it gets enforced or coerced. The more souls hellbound, victory for Team Satan, right?

Some people are taught that only simple belief is required and they automatically obtain salvation at the moment of repeating the sinner’s prayer and that it can never be taken from them. Of course, it’s a false bill of goods.

Future Glory - Romans 8:18-30 (ESV)
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

When Christ comes we shall be like Him, perfectly! Yes! But even in this present moment we have been predestined to be conformed to His image.
    1 John 3 vs 1-10
1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Wrong. Read the Entire bible. His grace gives us the ability to be saved by faith. We have a RESPONSIBILITY after we have received the grace of salvation. That responsibility is to KEEP on believing and WORK OUT our salvation in FEAR and Trembling. Read it clearly in Philippians 2:13 " work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." So God does the work in us through the Holy Spirit, but we have a responsibility to do the next step of working out, which is a choice to obey to do. It's not forced by God. The inside job of born again is done by God, but the outside job of working out, showing, proving, our salvation is done by our will. This is what so many false teachers are ignoring.
