Dusk Nights, I’m definitely doing another Exterminator playthrough on this game again. Regardless of the frustration it caused me, this game is just too damn awesome. It’s not even about getting the Ninja outfit either, I just think the game itself kicks ass and is fun as hell.
David Bergeaud will always be one of the most under-recognized and under-appreciated composers in all of human history. This isn't just some of the best video game music of all time, it's some of the best music humanity has and will ever produce and could ever possibly experience.
Ratchet Deadlocked doesn't get enough love. Going Commando was the best game, Up Your Arsenal was the most fun game, and Deadlocked was my personal favorite game. Everything about it was, like you said, badass!

I can't be the only one who used the Fusion Rifle to snipe all those DZ Ghost Strikers along the grind rails... with the "Kill Qwark!" cheat on... while turning them into animals via Morph Mod... good times...
What I would do to have a good native port of all of these PS2 R&C games to PS4/5 and PC, not just through emulation. Deadlocked will always be one of my favorite games of all time.
Gotta say I'm hurt by the fact the co-op R&C feature didn't stick into the later games (as far as I know, never played much of R&C future) but for me having a competent human partner during a playthrough was a tremendous selling point
Nah not all 4 one, but a crack in time had many Little details that many me appreciate the game like free ship roaming. Also, Nexus was a short sweet game that had pretty awesome weapons

And they jam every gagdet you got in the last level, like "remember those things?". I'm pretty sure you use the teleporting device ONCE, or I already forgot the second time if there was even one. And seriously, the pirating stuff was the worst thing ever. It's no surprise Deadlocked only kept the swinger and the grinding rails. They were the only gimmicks that did not feel like they slowed down the game.
Yaknow, Insomniac missed a trick with the Ghost Station. If this place is full of the ghosts of robots that you’ve clapped, where’s Reactor and Shellshock? Maybe have Ghost Shellshock waiting at the end of ‘Running the Gauntlet’, and Ghost Reactor standing between you, and the computers, or between you and the Hovership.
Following up on this, I actually have an idea. Just before reaching the Hovership, you battle both Shellock & Reactor as a team coming at you with new attacks and call the section *"Robotic Comraderies"* or if you want to be cute, *"A Shellshocking Reaction".* You could also do *"Eradic Exterminators"* as well, the sky's the limit really.
id fit well with the harder variations of same enemies insomniac did for 1 -3 as well, like how the humanoid spider robots in 2 came back in later levels but stronger
Ever since the ps2 era ..The only Ratchet and Clank game that came close to topping this soundtrack is Up your Arsenal.. The soundtrack is basically timeless. For the older gamers remember after beating Up your Arsenal and then seeing Deadlocked and was shocked by the dark tone. I know I was.. Kinda makes you think what was Rivet's version of the events that went on in this game. Was Ace Hardlight the actual hero in her universe...so many possibilities.
For what's meant to be an abandoned, haunted space station, not only is this place in rather good, if not mint condition, it's also got a rather upbeat soundtrack. Not something you would expect from a place like this, especially considering it's meant to be like a secret level that you only learn about towards the end of the game, and is even nicknamed "The Gauntlet of Doom." Also, something neat to note about this level is, since each mission has its own theme rather than reusing each other's or another level's themes and it has no Dread Challenges, this level (alongside Stygia) has a totally original soundtrack.

Safe file bonus for having Jak x which the wiki refuses to mention on it's main page but mentions the safe file bonus from ratchet 1 on the ratchet 3 page.. someone fix this mistake cuz i hate everyone yelling over formatting.. cuz every fucking wiki keeps doing different shit. But yes there is an unlockable for having this game and jak x on the ps2 it unlocks ratchet in that game.

Honestly, this is one of the best areas of the game. The gameplay, missions, story, enemies, and music of the Ghost Station are amazing.
