Woohoo, new cozy video! Your cafe sketches are like retro French children's illus come to life! Especially loved the vintage sconce and frames piece. Def adding Cafe Chloris to my Seoul visit list, thanks! 💕

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I love the idea of French illustrations :) Cafe Chloris has apparently been around for "a while" in Seoul terms - it's remained popular! But Seoul has a CRAZY amount of awesome cafes.

This was such a lovely video to watch! Thanks for taking us out into Seoul. I miss the cafes there so much! They really are on another level. It was relaxing to watch you sketch too. You're really free and loose with it. The amount of confidence and trust you have in your linework AND being totally fine with drawing in public, too.. can you just sprinkle a bit of that onto me please 👏🏽👏🏽😆
Thanks for the video! Looking forward to the next one.

Thank you so much for watching! The cafes in Seoul are amazing, and Jeju too. It's embarrassing to admit, but it is one of my *favorite* things about living here. It's been YEARS of insecurity to get to this point where I can draw outside. I'm almost 34 and I can finally hack it, and frankly the encouragement of my bf helps. Just take it easy!

@HannahMorenDraws I wholeheartedly agree! It's hard to find cafes that are comfortable and accommodating here in Canada. It feels like they're designed to discourage people to linger (uncomfortable seats, no outlets, and in some cases no wifi!). I miss being able to hang out at a beautiful cafe and read for a couple of hours. Or catch up with good friends in a neutral setting (whenever I was too lazy to clean my one-room 😂). At least I can enjoy living vicariously through your videos, haha.
It's great that you have someone who encourages your art! I can imagine it would feel a lot more relaxed to draw in public when you're sitting with someone who makes you feel comfortable 😊

I loved to hear your experience getting more comfortable with making art in public! I’m inspired to try doing more of this… since I paint all the time it has always seemed logistically difficult, but I recently have really been wanting to start a sketchbook and just see what damage I can do with a pencil or pen or marker 😆

@@pepostudios I’ve tried painting with gouache one time in public - I even recorded it! It’s my cat cafe vid. But I agree, logistically a lot more difficult. And drew a lot more attention…
But I want to look into tiny palettes and water holder brushes! But brush pens are also sorta a substitute for paint~ thanks for watching!!!!

@@HannahMorenDraws (oops, didn’t realize I posted my comment in a thread hahahah my bad) but I’ve been thinking about getting a more portable setup too! I’ll have to take a look at your cat cafe video to see how it went for you 🥰
