bro I currently lost my job and just trying to put my faith in God felt like this is a season I'm in, this message really hit me. I saw certain Sin slowly tryna creep back into my life also trying to make me run but I'm remaining in faith but this message really changed my perspective. God bless you brother.
Before. As a kid. Right now I am 16 years old. I’ve been suffering for so long as a kid. The loneliness, the depression, the fear, nightmares, seeing animal being brutally killed as a kid, bullyism, fake friends, being left alone, “discipline”, anger, violence, being “sensitive,” family turning against me, virus’s that made me suffered, misunderstanding, scolding, and so on. But I kept faith. I didn’t blame God at all… I never blamed him, even before knowing him. I just love God so much now… After all I been through. I have gain experience and understanding. God disciplined me as a kid… because he knows the potential I have. I just need that and I am willing. Being able to suffer that much? I didn’t thought about it. I just accept it because it’s the human thing to do. Soon… after knowing God. I feels so much better… with God I go through all the troubles with him. Right now. I am doing MMA, I am doing good at school, I am more happier and peaceful in Christ. It’s not a coincidence. It’s.. FAITH. I soon learned it’s about relationship, never religion. I forgives my family, I forgive my friends, I forgive people who hurt me. Love one another just as Christ Jesus has loved us. I don’t hate other people for what they’ve done to me for they don’t know what they’re doing. I loved God So much… I want to get closer to him.

14 years in a row I've had no money($400). To the world it looks like my Life is at it's worst. To me, it's never been Greater. 23 Building Trades and that's not even all my Skills, 1000+ Books Read, Produced My Own Music Demos(Selah), etc. Suffering is mentioned many times in the Gospel. I like suffering for other people truly in need of His Grace somewhere. I lay up ALL my treasure in Heaven anyways. Why not cheerful giving, share in suffering, rejoice in suffering, share blessings, love, be kind, forgive, thanksgiving(not the holiday), etc? The Son of God requires Mercy in this Lifetime. Take Heart and Keep Faith. The suffering now is nothing to His Glory! His Power is made Perfect in weakness! 😊🙏♥️
In an absolute season of suffering .. pray that the Lord God uses it for His Glory and continues to have His own way with me as He is the Potter and I am the clay... and as I see your faithful companion seated there with you,.. pray also that I may Never again be a dog returned to his vomit in Jesus mighty name!
It's just been so confusing and suffering lately. It feels like no one is speaking to me and everyone is far. I try to tell them how I feel but of course what they say doesn't feel to fit in me. I appreciate it all but I realized that only now that God's words ease me. But even so it's so difficult lately with the problems and brokenness I feel and loneliness. I don't even know if I explained it right but it's all a mess and chaos rn. I just want to know what God is fixing and doing right now. Because it really is painful.
Beautiful message, I wouldn't say for my glory though, definitely all things work together for my good as it is translated in the Bible. It is important to have that humble position of realizing we are incapable of not sinning in our freewill. The duality of the Gospel is of course that we are children of God, and God's love for us is our glory. Anything in my life, even if it seems to glorify me, should be given to God, because all glory is His. Without God I don't even exist, so every achievement and day on earth is His. Without God I certainly wouldn't be capable of denying sin, as I am today, without His strength. Never be afraid to share your witness with others, no matter their reaction, it is our duty. They so hated Jesus, how much more will the world hate us. Encourage others towards a relationship with God with all love and patience. Remember Jesus loves you all, seek a relationship with God through His Word to find true fulfillment

Yes "God works for the good of those who love Him" but if we love Him we will obey him. So our continued repentance is required for God to work in our lives for His good.
I think about this often. One thing that kind of hit me that this is kind of simply the result of eating from the tree of knowledge. They ate from the tree and the rest is history.

It took me a while to realize God is a very “the end justifies the means” type and that’s great if you’re God and are already seated peacefully in _the end_ in paradise. But for the rest of us that live in the slowburn hell of _the means,_ day in and out, it doesn’t give much comfort to be told, *”one day* things will be better.” If He can make a difference in our everyday life, why doesn’t He?? What Father treats His children this way? Ask the hard questions...
Life is full of suffering. We’re not toddlers, good things take time and suffering. Who are you to say how God should run things? Did you create all things?

Anytime someone tried to hold the Lord accountable for His actions.. when Job asked about his own suffering... the questions never answered but questions simply posed in turn: _”well who are you to say xyz??” And “where were you when the earth was formed??”_ But who gave us our minds and hearts and a sense of justice (and _injustice)_ in the first place?? Who gave us the ability to ask questions but then says _But dont ask ME questions!_ ?? As I said before: people should ask the hard questions. What Father treats His children this way?? It helps us grow in our faith, and as you remarked, Job did the same. And God said, "Job spoke rightly." Job 42:7 What encouraged me when I had similar questions to these is the person of Jesus(Hebrews 12:1-11), along with many other saints, old and New Testament: We are adopted children of God; he is the original son of God, so when we are disciplined, he is the perfect example of what to look to if we were to endure perfect discipline. He also endured discipline, but far worse than us: he bore every temptation; think about that... Imagine having to suffer temptations of body dysphoria, PDFiler, temptation to rape, murder and more(maybe you don't have to imagine). He suffered it all, and he's the example we are called to follow after. "Take up your cross and follow me". Matthew 16:24-26 Isaiah called him a "man of sorrows" and "acquainted with grief". Isaiah 53:3. God treated his only *son* to a life of homelessness followed by torture on a cross naked, topped with the worst torment a man could suffer; the wrath of God poured out on him. (Isaiah 53:4-6 )(Isaiah 53:10) John the Baptist was treated to a life in the wilderness followed by a beheading, knowing that Jesus could've saved him at any moment and didn't; be encouraged by his doubt(Mathew 11:2-6). The holy spirit led most of God's apostles to gruesome deaths and lives filled with sorrow. This was their portion of discipline(2 Corinthians 1:8). Often, the church looks over these things to focus on joy, but sorrow is there in its abundance. Consider this though: they thought the joy set before them was so great that they would endure all these things. See: .Hebrews 12:2 .Romans 8:17 .James 1:12 .Romans 8:18 Also, consider how the material promises are mere shadows of the real glory awaiting us. *Hebrews 11* If God fulfilled his earthly promises to people like Joseph and Abraham, will he not also fulfil the heavenly promises that await us? I could go on and on, but I hate writing.
Thank you for this, im so thankful it popped up in my feed. I was free from the addiction of porn and masturbation for over a year, but all of a sudden this Spring has turned into a "season of sin" like you said. The last time (two days ago) before I gave in I remembered the Holy Spirit, living in me, and then decided to give in to my lusts anyways. It has done so much damage to my faith, and I know if there's one thing I dont need to question it's God's love for me, but I feel so separated from Him, I can FEEL the Holy Spirit not being as strong in my life or my actions, and I don't know what to do but pray and read scripture and humble myself. Please pray for me, I'm having a hard time believing that I'm forgiven I guess, so please, even if you can just take one second out of your day, pray.

@@Blakecheekk True. I do wonder at what point does discipline become abusive? Discipline is for course-correction, but there are evils that extend beyond rehabilitation. Is cancer (just an example) discipline? Won't dive into the whole eternal punishment aspect of that, but it's all a little weird to me these days. Wish I could go back to the days when it was all beautiful.

Remember, this life is short, God may let some things happen that involve suffering, but it’s for their eternities sake, which is literally infinite. Paul in the Bible asked God to take away something from him 3 times, but God never did. What may seem a curse from man, may be a blessing from God.
He doesn't say distributions are equal and he does have favorites, he says so himself. Good, good for who? For those who love him not necessarily for the one who suffered.
Something is misleading. No person needs to sin To GLORIFY GOD. But for our sins that we had committed in the past or just until now, if we repent and come to GOD, GOD will help you get rid of your sin and HE will give healing to whoever is a newborn and use him or her For HIS GLORY. If you are sinning right now, it is not right. You must know that you need to stop immediately. DO NOT EVER THINK THAT GOD WILL USE IT TO GLORIFY HIM while sinning. It is wrong. 14 years in a row I've had no money($400). To the world it looks like my Life is at it's worst. To me, it's never been Greater. 23 Building Trades and that's not even all my Skills, 1000+ Books Read, Produced My Own Music Demos(Selah), etc. Suffering is mentioned many times in the Gospel. I like suffering for other people truly in need of His Grace somewhere. I lay up ALL my treasure in Heaven anyways. Why not cheerful giving, share in suffering, rejoice in suffering, share blessings, love, be kind, forgive, thanksgiving(not the holiday), etc? The Son of God requires Mercy in this Lifetime. Take Heart and Keep Faith. The suffering now is nothing to His Glory! His Power is made Perfect in weakness! 😊🙏♥️

It's just been so confusing and suffering lately. It feels like no one is speaking to me and everyone is far. I try to tell them how I feel but of course what they say doesn't feel to fit in me. I appreciate it all but I realized that only now that God's words ease me. But even so it's so difficult lately with the problems and brokenness I feel and loneliness. Beautiful message, I wouldn't say for my glory though, definitely all things work together for my good as it is translated in the Bible. It is important to have that humble position of realizing we are incapable of not sinning in our freewill. The duality of the Gospel is of course that we are children of God, and God's love for us is our glory. Anything in my life, even if it seems to glorify me, should be given to God, because all glory is His. Without God I don't even exist, so every achievement and day on earth is His. Without God I certainly wouldn't be capable of denying sin, as I am today, without His strength.
Never be afraid to share your witness with others, no matter their reaction, it is our duty. They so hated Jesus, how much more will the world hate us. Encourage others towards a relationship with God with all love and patience. Remember Jesus loves you all, seek a relationship with God through His Word to find true fulfillment

Yes "God works for the good of those who love Him" but if we love Him we will obey him. So our continued repentance is required for God to work in our lives for His good.

It took me a while to realize God is a very “the end justifies the means” type and that’s great if you’re God and are already seated peacefully in _the end_ in paradise. But for the rest of us that live in the slowburn hell of _the means,_ day in and out, it doesn’t give much comfort to be told, *”one day* things will be better.”

I think asking questions like you have is very worthwhile. It helps us grow in our faith, and as you remarked, Job did the same. And God said, "Job spoke rightly." Job 42:7
What encouraged me when I had similar questions to these is the person of Jesus(Hebrews 12:1-11), along with many other saints, old and New Testament:
We are adopted children of God; he is the original son of God, so when we are disciplined, he is the perfect example of what to look to if we were to endure perfect discipline. He also endured discipline, but far worse than us: he bore every temptation; think about that... Imagine having to suffer temptations of body dysphoria, PDFiler, temptation to rape, murder and more(maybe you don't have to imagine). He suffered it all, and he's the example we are called to follow after. "Take up your cross and follow me". Matthew 16:24-26
Isaiah called him a "man of sorrows" and "acquainted with grief". Isaiah 53:3.
God treated his only *son* to a life of homelessness followed by torture on a cross naked, topped with the worst torment a man could suffer; the wrath of God poured out on him. (Isaiah 53:4-6 )(Isaiah 53:10)
John the Baptist was treated to a life in the wilderness followed by a beheading, knowing that Jesus could've saved him at any moment and didn't; be encouraged by his doubt(Mathew 11:2-6). The holy spirit led most of God's apostles to gruesome deaths and lives filled with sorrow. This was their portion of discipline(2 Corinthians 1:8). Often, the church looks over these things to focus on joy, but sorrow is there in its abundance.
Consider this though: they thought the joy set before them was so great that they would endure all these things. See:

Also, consider how the material promises are mere shadows of the real glory awaiting us. *Hebrews 11*
If God fulfilled his earthly promises to people like Joseph and Abraham, will he not also fulfil the heavenly promises that await us?

Thank you for this, im so thankful it popped up in my feed. I was free from the addiction of porn and masturbation for over a year, but all of a sudden this Spring has turned into a "season of sin" like you said. The last time (two days ago) before I gave in I remembered the Holy Spirit, living in me, and then decided to give in to my lusts anyways.
It has done so much damage to my faith, and I know if there's one thing I dont need to question it's God's love for me, but I feel so separated from Him, I can FEEL the Holy Spirit not being as strong in my life or my actions, and I don't know what to do but pray and read scripture and humble myself.
Please pray for me, I'm having a hard time believing that I'm forgiven I guess, so please, even if you can just take one second out of your day, pray.
Praying for you brother. Figure out what triggers you. If it’s social media delete it off your phone at least for the time being. Be desperate for change. Get a flip phone if you have to.

@@Blakecheekk True. I do wonder at what point does discipline become abusive? Discipline is for course-correction, but there are evils that extend beyond rehabilitation. Is cancer (just an example) discipline? Won't dive into the whole eternal punishment aspect of that, but it's all a little weird to me these days. Remember, this life is short, God may let some things happen that involve suffering, but it’s for their eternities sake, which is literally infinite. Paul in the Bible asked God to take away something from him 3 times, but God never did. What may seem a curse from man, may be a blessing from God.
