Hope you guys enjoyed this video! The story of The Witch Queen has a lot of uncertainties and a very messy timeline, depending on which item descriptions you're reading, but it's definitely one of the most interesting lore stories I've looked into thus far. Fun fact: Razma is actually the woman that Conan rescues from a cross in the opening cutscene when you boot up the game. A lot of you probably know this, but I hope some of you who didn’t find this interesting.
Woah! This is the closest representation of the lore of Conan The Barbarian by Robert E. Howard that has been done in the game. The effort for the builds, narrative and video is just massive. Thank you for helping making this game alive. Hopefully this game gets the love and attention it deserves.
Glad you enjoyed it! I definitely intend to cover some more lore in the future, it takes a lot of effort to script and record, but it's well worth it.

I've sunk countless hours in this game, yet I've never been able to piece together this entire story. Which I must say is rather interesting :) Cheers mate
If this is the first lore video of mine you're seeing, I've got plenty more! Here's a link to the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLb1BvY8uSBcc-H4sq5AqnBK4oRNkCcOOk.html I'm glad you enjoyed this video so much! This one has always been amongst my favourites. You might also get a kick out of the Settlers series, which is half building and half storytelling ua-cam.com/play/PLb1BvY8uSBcfnqoU4fNhswBaf4y0q4aOv.html
Another interesting fact to mention is that the Serpentmen have also been refugees who've been granted the right to settle within the Exiled Lands by the Giant Kings the same way the Lemurians were. They were the ones who bound an elemental demon to a staff and gave it to the Giant Kings as a sign of good will between their people, but their real intentions were of malicious nature. Their plan was to let the staff slowly corrupt the Triumvirate of the Giant Kings in order to cloud their judgement so that they would have a significant advantage over them, should there ever be war between their peoples. This corruption finally led the Giant Kings to their decision to unleash its powers onto the Lemurians, which eventually ended their own civilization thanks to Petruso and his sacrifice. In terms of what that "strange weapon" was that the Lemurians deployed: It is somewhat implied that it was some kind of explosives, so my guess is that they were talking about dragon powder bombs such as the "explosive jar" we can craft in Conan Exiles.
I truly appreciate this video, thank you. I’ve just watched it about 6 times while playing Exiles and listening to whole lore playlist now. More, more!
I subscribed a while back to see your amazing builds. To get some fresh ideas for my world. But these lore posts are awesome. Years ago I read a few Conan paperbacks and fell in love with the story. When the game came out I got it immediately. Thanks for the vids.
Thanks Dean, glad you've been enjoying the content! There's more building content coming, the next video is building-related but something a little different I'm trying out. I've got some bigger things coming down the pipeline soon too!
I used the 'Lands of Rebirth' mod to get the pre-war experience. It's pretty graphically intensive at times and not 100% lore accurate, but it's a very nice mod
Excelent video, I'm in awe of your creation. Even the transfer of desert and newbie river into lush climate is amazing. However, to be honest, in this conflict, I tend to cling more to support Giant-Kings side. They were merciful to the Lemurians, treated them (at first) as equals and even gave them part of their land. In exchange, they got war and treachery (Archivist's murder)
Glad you enjoyed it! I rarely ever use that desert mod, but it's very impressive. I lean more to the Lemurians due to the Serpentmen in the Volcano, though both sides had issues throughout the conflict, which I'm a big fan of. Grey characters are so much more interesting
@@Eradicati0nn Well if the giant kings truly did view the Lemurians as equals then why didn't they aid them in their war against the Serpentmen who prey on humanity. Meaning you can never truly know who your friends are during the good times but you'll certainly find out during the bad.
@@Eradicati0nn I agree, no side was exactly saint (as you sid, they were grey), which is common theme in Howard's work (just another reason I prefer it to more black-and-white works), I just felt that if I would be a leader of one of the human tribes in Exiled Lands, I would probably stay loyal to Giant-Kings
@@mausolus8466 I can definitely see that point, I think it speaks to perhaps how vengeful the Lemurians were capable of being, something which we don't really see throughout the rest of the story until Razma dons The Witch Queen's mask
@@Doomseer Well, Giant-Kings worshipped Set, and Serpentmen are aligned with this deity. Plus humans ventured on territoty that wasn't gifted to them when they found Serpentmen. Many lore-stones also mention pre-war trade and diplomacy between Giant-Kings and Lemurians, so at the very least, Giant-Kings didn't see Lemurians as slaves and altar-fodder before the war started. As for the Serpentmen, Giant-Kings simply tried to have good relation with both factions - Serpentmen due to common reverence of Set and Lemurians due to the what I can only describe as generosity and pity (pretty uncommon for worshippers of Set, true, but still, they gave them part of their land to settle and treated that as sovereign territory)
It's unfortunately not, I used the Lemurian Architect mod to build a recreation of a smaller Lemurian area to represent their homelands. Most of the pieces are either taken from or inspired by the Witch Queen arena tho

@@danzig6669 I'm honestly not 100% sure, I think it might be Exiles Extreme but I can't be certain
I wish we could have the building pack , is so gold , royal and pretty

That transition from forest to desert was amazing!
Love the Witch queen lore
I wasn't too sure if I'd enjoy it before I started, but it's an awesome story
Man you got this like a master storyteller and the movie itself, gosh this was just great. Do more please!!

Very well done. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put out a cohesive story of the Witch Queen. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent once again, Sir. A+ for the semester.

Oh, fantastic. Thank you for another wonderful video which digs deeper into the rich lore of the Exiled Lands.
Beautiful work!!!!! I LOVE your lore videos, I came for your builds and stayed for your lore ❤️❤️❤️
Such a great lore video! Really liked it, I hope you get more into the Lemurians in another video someday.
Masterbuilder and Loremaster, thank you for that

Glad you enjoyed it Vlada! I do indeed plan on doing more, I've got a couple of ideas on who to cover in upcoming episodes
This was an amazing lore video. I am more impressed with the actual cinematics. How did you do that? Mind blowing bro
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it! I basically just set up scenes with thespians and such and use CamLoc from Pippi for the dolly cam effect

A haunted mask which possesses the wearer? Fable's Jack of Blades would like a word lol
