Love the video buddy once again huge thank you for getting this done an you doin a killer job. Will be coming back for more stuff to be painted here very soon
Bud you going to get sued with those lights. Not even close to legal. One wreck and someone gets hurt. All they have to say is your brake lights are painted. Dude literally painted over your running lights and brake lights. No way that is DOT.
Next time have someone paint them that knows what they are doing. Tint the rest of the light. There is a reason there is no lights like this being sold.
As I mention in the video, the masked off areas are the actual braking lights, so there is no visibility issues there, the park lamps are painted over but they show through the paint still.
Unfortunately it kind of a 1 time deal once its painted theres no going back, you can sand them down as much as possible to take the color away but wont be like factory, you'd have to re clear them because they're sanded. Best way would be to wrap them instead if you're worried about that
@@maxpain7197 the running lights are painted over yes. If you actually paid attention the video, the clear parts are not painted over obviously and those are the brake lights. Fast forward to the end and you’ll see they are completely visible, along with the park lights💁
@JustinsCustoms76 You can't paint over any part that is a light dude. You are supposed to paint everything that is not lighting up. The running lights are used at night. There is a reason they aren't sold this way. You going to get your azz sued. No way these are DOT approved. One accident is all it will be. But hey justify it all you want.

No problem man glad you're happy with them!🙌

@@braydenwhite9856 brand is Omni by PPG, paint code is PW7 “bright white”
Is the thin tape you used on the taillights regular painters tape or is it a vinyl tape?
I love the look. But my concern is, during the day no body will see if u are breaking, . does the red light go thru the paint during daytime?

That driver is going to get sued. No way those are even close to DOT. One rear-end and someone gets hurt.. 😂😂 Good luck on that.
If you do this and dont like it or the police bother you, how easy would it be to take the paint off.

@@JustinsCustoms76 gotcha yeah I don't think you would be able to see the lights through vinyl wrap.
It changed tue look alright it all took away from it, say you dodge like the brand without saying a word.
Are this legal to drive with
@@duhgreat8449 this is my buddies truck and he’s never been pulled over for them, brake lights are still totally visible
Nope
He painted over the brake lights and running lights. Amateur. Only looks nice when the truck doesn't have to brake or be seen down a long highway

Next time paint the headlights. 😂😂
How do I get in touch with you?
You can email me @justin.hager76@gmail.com
Looks awesome but the cops would ticket the hell out of you around here
The part where he painted isn’t the break lights so his brakes are completely visible
Totally not the way to paint these lights. Good luck on the driver and his lawsuit
