Completely agree! My CRF Rally already came with one (plus two unused original seats - one low, one normal). I’ve tried them all and the SC is streets better. Brilliant videos by the way. By far the best for any CRF owner. Your concise words and careful editing make them both watchful and very useful (I’m just installing Barkbusters and have your video running!)
Hi Roia, Thank you for you videos's They are very good. If you have the time, could you make an instruction video about how to change the front and rear sprocket and chain?
I am always looking for seats. Nothing available for my bikes. My XR250 seat is good for about 10 minutes of riding. Rode it 2500 km one time and said never again and bought another bike. My niece rode the 250 last year on a 1500km trip. She added an extra cushion that saved her butt but she couldn't touch the ground. My GL1200 has a steel pan seat off a tractor. I can ride all day long. No padding on the seat
@@RoiaMoto Im the worst one to ask, my motorcycles stay protected unless being ridden. Put it this way, I have the only 2003 KLR that hasn't faded yet...lol
Very good review and you are right the stock seat is hard as a board after a 50 mile ride but butt was sore. I will get one ordered soon. Great review!
I really don't like the way that it looks but I can't deny anything that you said. It's an amazing seat. It almost reminds you which position you need to be in, when you need to be in that spot.
I have the Rally, which has a slightly wider seat than the regular 300L, which makes it slightly more comfortable, but still not exactly good. After my first trip riding several hours in one day, I knew I needed to add or change something. I looked into mesh seat covers, sheepskin seat covers, gel pads, and the Seat Concepts and Corbin seats. I ended up sticking with the stock seat and getting an Alaska Leather dual sport sheepskin butt pad. The next trip I took was much better with the sheepskin pad added. Whether someone still has the stock sear or an aftermarket seat, that sheepskin butt pad is a worthy addition.
Nice one! Seat comfort is really individual. Glad to hear you manage to go on a much cheaper "route" compared to mine. it was not easy to pull the trigger on such an expensive product. Cheers
Thanks. That’s the tricky thing with comfort. Everybody’s body and tolerance to pain is quite difference. I’d say I can put up with a lot of pain/discomfort but somehow I just didn’t fit well with the stock seat. My bum was bruised for about 3 weeks after I came back from the trip. I was really hurt.
Hey Italo - hope you are doing great - another cool video on which I totally agree - looking for the same seat but have ridden it on a friend's bike...just wondering why you don't have a bigger tank considering your trips..another video on that ;-) ? Hope you've received my last mail during all your orders to fulfill :-D *cheers* Michael
Hey Michael! Thanks! It worked well for me but seat comfort is a very personal thing. If you decide to buy one, hope it works out for you as well. I'm considering to buy the bigger fuel tank. Still haven't fully made up my mind about it but maybe in 2025 I'll do it. Ohh.. have you written me an emal today? Vienna Ktm 690? 😎 I think (hope) that I have replied to all emails but it's been a bit crazy the last weeks
Yeah the sock seat could definitely do with being more comfortable. I've taken a different approach. I've ordered a pair of padded shorts & spent the remaining money on a weeks holiday in Croatia 😉
I had the same problem, the first months I could only drive max 2 hours that goes away at some point. .... My best value is 26h only with tank stop .... 600€ saved or 12,000 free kilometers😅
Thanks! I wasn’t aware about them. I just checked their website. Unfortunately I couldn’t see anything for the CRF300L and the way I understood the website, they only offer seat foam and covers. It needs to be installed on the original seat pan.

what happened to the adventure spec rear rack?
Every video you do I feel like you’re totally working to help us figure out whatever it is you’re talking about. Another great video thanks a lot.
I appreciate that! Thanks for the supportive comment!

Hi David! Great suggestion! I'm going to make this video as well!
Thanks Italo for your honest review!
Merci ! Je suis belge et sur le point de faire un long voyage avec mon CRF 300 Rally, je vais m'inspirer de vos conseils pour modifier ma selle !
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed the video. It's a good idea. Specially if you already know the original seat is giving creating pain for you.
I love my seat concepts seat for my 300L, and I got the cool red/black version, 5 stars.

Nice one. Is the red staying red or is it fading? I was thinking about going for the full red version but was afraid of the possible fading.
Cheers

Thanks!! It has worked quite well for me and hope you will be happy with it. Not too hard to be “better” than the stock seat to be fair 😂.
Excellent review! Thank you👌👌👌
Glad you liked it!
Hi, very nice video, can you tell me what rear rack you have on the bike. Thank you :)

Agree. The stock seat looks better but I just couldn’t take the pain after riding in it for 20 days 😄

As always a very good video my respect: „how can you talk about a seat for so long“ 😂 But I liked to watch it until the end, I like your way❤
hahaha.. I ask myself the same thing when editing these videos. This video would have been 30 minutes if I didn't put an immense effort to reduce it 😅
I bought the chinese version of "cool covers" from Aliexpress for my 300L. So far I am quite happy. 3 days of TET denmark + 1 day autobahn was fine.

Nice video. Don't have as much issues with the original seat but this is definitely a good option for long tours.
Thanks.

Have same Seat Concept seat sinds few month, for long trip and i'm realy happy 👍 (import to Belgium)
Glad it also worked out for you!
Finally I upgrade the bike to a T7.
Nice one! Amazing bike!

Hey mate
How do you find the padded shorts? Were they enough for you?
Also a nice day to spend some time in Croatia 😎
Why not Corbin seat?
I preferred the design of the Seat Concepts. Do you have experience with Corbin Seat? Also good?
thanks!

That sounds like a good deal to me! You put a tank stop? What is this?
You must have butt implants😅
Very €€€€ ..at least here in Greece u can create exactly whatever you want for your butt, much better
Yes. Very expensive! Can you recommend any shop in Greeve that produces seats? I would very interested to know that.
thanks!
