I loved the cutscenes to this Spider-Man 3 game I have both one on PS2 and PS3 though the graphics on PS3 could've used more work, but I loved it.

Yeah, in the movies and animations, Spider-Man tends to get shown up a lot, which gets pretty annoying after a while. Like, dude, stop getting bullied all the time. But since games are innately a collection of challenges designed to be overcome or even mastered, it leads to a way more competent version of Spider-Man.
Though I remember Shattered Dimensions had some parts where I was still feeling that discomfort. Like all the times the Spider-Men were kind of at the mercy of their villains but were arbitrarily spared, which gets me 2nd-hand-humiliation.
Souped-up Kraven was made way too powerful, so you also ended up beating him in a way that doesn't add up. I will never get how you simply knock someone out like Deadpool who has a strong healing factor either, like imagine Spidey using brutal tactics to overwhelm Deadpool, knowing he will survive anyway, like he could win by crushing/burying him and Deadpool would still talk crap while you collect the fragment.
