Some information about the Bicolor White Cacao Fruit
The Theobroma bicolor is a type of cocoa of which mainly the flesh is eaten. In contrast to the other species, the flesh is thick around the kernel. The taste is soft and sweet. The seeds can also be eaten or dried and processed into cocoa. The quality of the cocoa is somewhat less than that of its counterparts. The tree can reach a high from 3 till 8 meters.
Theobroma Bicolor is the official name of this beautiful cacao variety but it also has some other nice local names! The Theobroma Bicolor is also known as: Macambo, Jaguar Cocoa, Balamte. Pataxte.

Hello man, am already a customer of yours, the young seedlings I bought are doing great. I'll be buying more seedlings soon as I didn't do well with most of the seeds.
Do you think that it's worth the risk to grow this cacao in Cyprus Island, am in the best spot on the island, on the south coast where we get frost only once every 40 years and only for a night only, usually the minimum night temperature is 10 C and it lasts for a month, with maybe a week of 7 or 8 C during night.

Hi There! In terms of temperature, it would be good for cacoa. The humidity could play a factor that will be a bit harder for the Cacao buttt, I think it's worth the try 🙂We have some customers in Greece and the Island Rhodos who are growing it also since last year :D

He there! Thank you for your interest in Theobroma species. However, we do not recommend acquiring them as most of these plants are sensitive to temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius and are likely to perish.
