How to Crochet the Candy Cane Edging

When this super easy two-color edging is crocheted in red and white, all I can think of is candy canes. It's brilliant and gala. The two colors are crocheted separately yet are entwined together in an almost ropelike edging. So simple and so festive!
It’s durable, stretchable and amazingly easy to make. Plus, it‘s a great trim for both knitting and crochet! These qualities make it a true classic and as proof, I’ll share a little secret with you. I first designed and published this pattern over 26 years ago!
