Thanks to a very cool subscriber, it’s time to update the look of the cheap, Copart Mercedes S600 V12! MWM shows you how to remove the old headlight lens by using an oven and how to replace the turn signal indicatos on the side mirrors!

I know baking them is less fattening, but you just cannot beat deep fat fried headlights. I have my great grandmothers recipe. Passed down since the 1600s.

Replacing lenses on older cars with glass lenses is so damn easy, just metal clips and pull it out and it also has a rubber seal, no shitty glue

Turned out beautiful! A good way to help keep them lenses clear is with some 2K clear coat. A light coat will make a huge difference.

Best deal on cloudy headlights ,go to Walmart auto for $20. They will do it and they will look new . No scrubbing no sanding no frustration . Cheaper than buying kits .Hope this will help.

Great video mike, I got another suggestion on the headlight, get some off bug spray and a white sock, spray the sock and go side to side on the headlight it will make it clear
For maybe 5 minutes , don't use that garbage on headlight lenses , use the proper cleaner .

Hi Mike, In the first video of you and Randy taking the S600 home I noticed all the trouble messages. Among those was a warning for the PSE system. Did you resolve that issue and how? I have a 2004 CL500 with PSE issues. No soft close, non-functioning door locks...etc. I've owned this car for 12 years now. It is my daily except when it is in the shop. I also have ABC issues, need to replace 3 struts. Saving my money for that one. Thank you

They have a lip they fit into to make them waterproof

Cool video Mike. Isn't there any way to repair those broken Tabs (epoxy?) so the lights fit right? It may help you get a few more $$ when it sells.

How long till the cylinders go out of round? How many miles do you have on it?
Out and in she is a good car . Its suck the gas price is high .
For me it would have been worth the effort if the new lenses were glass. These will fade like the others pretty quickly.
w140s and older cars have beautiful glass lenses that look like new after 100 years, as my w202, the only issue in my cars is that my turn signals are so yellowish that they look like plain shit
Tailights in these 90s mercedes also NEVER FADE, cars that spent all their life he in paraguay's tropical hot climate still look like NEW, so does my W202, these hella taillights were super high quality
