- Scottish football fans, better known as the famous Tartan Army, came to Warsaw for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland on 14th October.
Both sets of fans were fantastic and received well deserved praise for their friendliness and mutual respect.
Both sets of fans applauded each others anthem, the Poles stayed behind after the game to applaud the Scots fans leaving the stadium for the atmosphere they brought to the game.
I saw elderly Polish ladies dancing the highland fling and then having a saltire painted on her face before giving her dance partner a hug and a kiss. A very patient bagpiper giving a lesson to a young lady.
Fans swapping scarves and tops, There were charity concerts, charity football matches between both sets of fans.
in short great fans, great football and a terrific experience.
The Scottish fan forums are absolutely full of praise for Poland, Warsaw and the Polish people.
It would be fair to say that whilst Scots fans have a worldwide reputation and have won numerous awards for being one of, if the best international fans, there are elements of Polish club fans who have a less desirable reputation. They certainly proved that the reputation applies only to the tiny hooligan minority, the Polish fans in Warsaw were a credit to their team.
Best fans of the world. I love you, Scotland!
Tartan Army - the most friendly, colorful fans - love them!

Respect for all of you fans Scottish you are top
Even in Dortmund it was very great
This is beyond fantastic 😮
Typical of the Scotland fans. You don't see them starting fights, setting fire to people's businesses, and running riot in the streets fighting opposition fans and local police. That is why the Scots have a reputation throughout Europe for being friendly and well behaved. And that is why they are generally welcomed into other people's cities, and that is why they are not despised the way the English fans are despised. Well done to the Tartan Army.
"starting fights, setting fire to people's businesses, and running riot in the streets" true, pretty sure England has that shit on copyright.
Agree we want to party. England want to fight . Hey if they want to we will smash them.. eh
entrañables estos escoceses , asi hay que ir por la vida haciendo amigos
