- Scottish fans sang their national anthem at the euroqualifing2016 game Germany vs. Scotland at Dortmund arena.
Great crowd, great fans. They won the singing contest vs. the German event fans ;)
Also thanks to the scotish fans who visiting the MSV Duisburg vs. VfL Osnabrück 3rd Division match one day before the GERSCO match. It was a great performance as well there. We had a lot of fun with all of you drunken guys!! :) - Спорт

It’s when all the German’s heads turn when the Scots start singing that gets me. I’ve been to Dortmund’s ground and the design amplifies the noise like something I haven’t ever heard before. I’m English and I would have loved hearing the Scots in there.

For anyone not Scottish and confused by this exchange, there's a group of people in Scotland who are complete serfs and wish they were English. "Fenian Hunter" and his racism and bigotry is a prime example. Thankfully this group is becoming smaller and smaller, and don't reflect Scottish people.

As a german, I actually only learned that patriotism can be a positive feeling through working a substancial time in Scotland. Only through studying scottish history and Amy McDonald ( singing Flower of Scotland and later her song "Pride") did it slowly dawn on me that this does not necessary entail arrogance and cruelty.....

I, as a german, have so many great memories with scottish fans over the decades. Although we beat them almost all the times, afterwards it's just a great party with lot's of great people.
