- 🍍 I have not seen my family in the UK since we left in 2021 to start a new life in the Philippines. It's been difficult but a parcel from home has made things better... although I now miss them even more!

When you are in the jungle. Walk heavy and kick rocks and stuff , make a lot of ground noise, then you might never see a snake , they are scared and don’t want to bite bigger animals that they can’t eat so they will slither away cause they can feel the vibrations
The joy of Adam taking package one by one, like a surprised child, so much emotions, bringing back childhood memories, missing 🇬🇧 on that moment 😊

How thoughtful of your family to send you a Christmas package of goodies. It goes to show how much they love you. My husband's siblings who are living abroad send us a balikbayan box of goodies once in a while. They send it as early as October so that the balikbayan box reaches us in time for Christmas. That's how long it takes to send packages from abroad to the Philippines. Thanks for this vlog. Stay safe. 😊

Always nice to get things from your relatives, especially coming from the UK. Other than sending letters (no legal docs) I’ll send via DHL or in the case of pasalubongs, via balikbayan boxes. Ingat!

Felt your emotion there Adam. I understand. It's hard when you're separated from your siblings etc, but you can seek comfort with your lovely and loyal Jane and your awesome daughter. Without them you will not be fulfilled as our Lord wants us to be.

I've never been in Kananga but it looks like beautiful nature. Actually, on Monday I will be having coffee with an elderly gentleman from Kanaga here in Ormoc.

Also you can get a couple of Ally type cats to keep in your yard , keep them out and give them plenty of food , keep the cat food up high ware the dogs can’t get it, cats are a lot faster then snakes but not invincible
Wow!! Its so nice there... I miss our province. We cant visit our province due to lack of money 😔.. I just noticed the dog was outside the house while its raining 😔 poor thing. I hope the dog has a nice place to stay especially when its raining..

I came across Terry's chocolate orange here in America several years ago and order them every year for Christmas. Love them.

Chocolates and snacks from the UK are flat out superior to much of what’s available here in the US. Whether it’s flake, aero, Cadbury, etc. The KitKat bars from the UK are 10 times better. I goto the English pub here in San Francisco to stack up on chocolates I can’t get anywhere else.

Just search about mongoose. They have in Palawan main island and calamian island. Not sure if your allowed to buy one or endangered species.

Hello my friend. I am so happy to see you have received a package from your family in uk. I have to things to say. About your car whot the smell like coming from your engine if its selling like routing egg then it's the Warter in the radiator flush it out may help and what's the ear con like in your car . The second thing on my return I shall bring with me birds trifle if I get back this year then you have one for Christmas I have taste the coconut yoget and is very nice in taste. Thank you my friend so much. We would exchange many coconut yoghurt for more trifle 🤣 the car definitely is a dead rat or mouse. I took out the cabin filter and saw recent droppings. I only changed it a couple of months ago. There is a section I cannot easily access where I’m sure the body is 😊

I luv that children’s tale. Ah RTT, just fun to say, too. Without looking it up, I consider them to be like weasels, or ferrets, or mink! But I always prefer mongoose, just because of RTT. The power of childhood loves….
Haven’t watched the cartoon, just had the story in my book of fairy tales from childhood. My sisters & I wore that book out! It was a huge book of collection of fairy tales. All kinds. One section just Grimm Bros. Unfortunately stolen during home robbery. Can’t find it again, out of print….but I remember.

We had 3 Philippine Cobra on our land 1.200 m2 in a size up to 1.2 meters. Two dogs were bitten and killed within 30 minutes. I killed 2 cobras and the third one ran away. Now we are cutting our grass regularly with our grass cutter and it seems the snakes didn't like it and moved away. The Philippine Cobra is after the King Cobra the most dangerous one and present on Masbate. The Samar Cobra looks very nice and colorful in comparison to the grey Philippine Cobra.

Hopefully you'll get to the bottom of the smell from the engine, probably a cooked mouse hidden in a pipe as you say. Jane didn't seem as excited by the chocolate as you, perhaps she prefers the local cocoa to the processed varieties. But there's nothing like a taste of home when you are so far away.
Try planting lemon grass or tanglad coz snakes don't like the aroma smell of it but dodelicious for us people.

Good Morning Adam, what is the average price for beach lots in your area? I am looking for a plot however some are stupid prices, I know you look for land, how many times zonal value
Is beach land, say agricultural is valued at x yet vendor asks y, what in your opinion is a happy medium.

We are leaving the Philippines after 12 years. Missing the 4 seasons, meeting friends in a pub, good food and very important, a good education for our 3 kids. PHs are nice but more for vacation not for living 😘
Good luck my friend. We find the way of life here better for our family and education is great for Isabella. The UK is nice but we wouldn’t swap where we are for anything. Great people, friends, nature, beauty, way of life and the only downside is missing family in the UK 😊

Mongoose looks more like and over sized rat. We have them in Trinidad they eat snakes they gave long mouths and are very sneaky.

It’s not the food my friend. I’m actually not homesick as much as I love living the Philippines. I just miss my family of course. We will see them soon though 😊
